Some confusion here. Snails have their mouths so located, but I hardly think that an actor of Suchet's ability is a gastropod.

Written in 1970s, with references to fashion etc of the time, yet this drama is set in the 40s/50s! Christie based Poirot in the 30s to the 70s- her life span too. Third Girl is set in the 60s yet the drama is the 40s! Very odd
