Thank you Tyson for the suggestion to be a loader while getting your licenses and building flight time/experiences in another video. The people I have spoken with all said that's a good way/place to start. Too bad I came at the end of season here in AZ. Hopefully I can get on board with a company in the next coming months. Well, it certainly appears that you have the heaviest load to pull in this operation. Not downplaying the pilot's role, but you've really got your hands full and appear to have it all under control. I love it when a team works in such a coordinated manner. Great job! QUESTION: When you're prepping the plane for dry load such as seed, what changes have to be made to the plane. Does the hopper have to be cleaned and/or dried prior to loading it with seed rather than liquid? As always, thanks much for sharing. Steve
@AgAviationAdventures
@AgAviationAdventures 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Steve. In order to do dry we have to take the booms off and attach the spreader. It takes about an hour. There is a video about the spreader and you can see more clearly what it does and how it works.

When fueling the aircraft with the dry lock, does the airplane have a pre-check valve that automatically shuts the fueling off like with a single-point connection found on most jets, or is it something that you have to monitor?

Connor Lynch That can really vary depending on if your season is 4 months, 8 months, or year around. I would say an average would maybe be $60-$80k for a 6 month season. Weather has a lot to do with it as well as crop prices. It’s not a very stable income and can be drastically different from year to year.

Glad to see you're taking your health seriously around those chemicals... I'd hate to see you pay for it later for having a lax attitude. Don't get complacent... trust me, life has a way of making you pay for your youthful excesses and lapses in judgement when you get older.

can't believe she said and sometimes she will even use a reparatory, something like that should be mandatory for a work safe environment. what it is to be young again and not think anything will effect you. Great show though, very informative. my bet is she is so desensitized from the CHEMICAL she does not even smell it anymore. You can see the color of her skin in around her mouth is off, my bet is because she is so lazy about her health and or Reparatory. Remember, only you can decide how long you want to be there for your family.

My skin color around my mouth is off?! Gee that's a first. Do I seriously look like someone who is lazy about my health? And how would wearing a respirator help my skin?! I get more skin damage from the sun than I do from these chemicals you think I'm pouring all over my body. Remember, only you can decide how much time you waste on the internet today.
