What made this song great is the use by Greta Van Fleet of the mellotron , a type of organ , keyboard developed in in the 60's used by groups like Genesis, King Crimson, Moody Blues.

This music video is fucking amazing not only because its very well done and the music fits the theme/visuals of LOTR really damn well, but also because when I first heard Age of Man, I practically envisioned this exact video. The lyrics are ruined for me 4ever. I hate that. Different ears hear different things. Like I always thought it was, "Unto the anthem of the heart." And "Drinks the skies just because." Are you sure you got all of them right? I've never bothered to research it...i'll go do that now. Those were just 2 examples btw. Another being, "It doesn't eat where nothing grows." And many more lol
