It's funny to hear kids who grow up on vintage make negative comments. They don't read the message they have fake concert T shirts. And John Mayor btw on the back of his first CD said. I rip off Eric Clampton riffs and HE likes it. It's do fun to heard the back story. Grand Funks Mark Farner wants to write some songs knowing it will pay lol. Great little singer says Robert Plant. Boys are so hard on each other. Musicians are so HARD on each other. The egos are outstanding. So any talk is good talk they say..
@ethantillotson43325 жыл бұрын
It’s not respect when you claim to not listen to the band that you are very clearly ripping off. My issue with them is they don’t give credit where credit is due. They’re Led Zeppelin 2 and they need to own it. The drummer plays the exact same set up as bonham and uses triplets in the same style bonham did The guitarist mannerism and rig is almost identical to page and his playing is clearly influenced by page. The bassist is using a very similar rig and playing the same riffs JPJ would play. And the singer.. he is doing everything he can to mimic plant. From his phrasing to his hand gestures and body language. He’s doing everything he can to channel plant. I just wish they would give credit to the originators.
@mcclendonreport5 жыл бұрын

I’m a fan. Bands that actually play instruments are a dying breed. Everyone with a damn mixer thinks they’re the next coming of DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince...lol! On a side rock note..a couple weeks back I rocked some TooL (Lateralus) for the first time in nearly a year. Although I’ve listened to them more than any other band in my life and know every lyric to every album...halfway through (playing as loud as my speakers will handle btw) a favorite portion plays, giving me goosebumps for the third time since hitting play. Then it truly dawned on me. I’m a fan of rock music. I hold them in high esteem. But none hold a candle to TooL. There’s rock bands...then there’s rock royalty. TooL is the only band I consider rock royalty from my era.

Nice compilation. I'm old so I tend to listen to the music, and have heard A LOT LIVE, so I never hear the detractors. Music is fun. Music is my soul. Thanks for putting this together. GVF are doing it right.

Haven't really got into him that much but they're very unique. And now actually hearing his voice. I think a blind melon so I'm going to pick one of their albums out tonight and listen to it

Sometimes he sings perfectly and other times he sounds like he is shrieking. I love his voice but he really needs to focus on putting moments like these into studio songs.

American girl He always takes all his tricks out of the bag every song. Great singers you maybe hear them once only every ten albums.
