Since they changed how Gaia lush works I usually build one manor next to each starting tower. Then I try to fill the gaps and make a trail towards the frontline in order to fully utilize the Channels upgrade.

I find it interesting how the best players all just kind of hang out and pull back when they have an advantage, like you said, and then just wait for their opponent to make a fatal mistake. Which happened here when the Poseidon player just mindlessly attacked with a massive amount of militia. The problem is that while there are a lot of militia, they're not actually that strong. Maybe that was the ploy? Implode the base so they get a bunch of militia and make them think to attack. If so that's like a 5D chess move right there.

I think the implosion was intended to supply block his opponent. After the implosion red was 159/90 because he also loat lots of houses.

@@JediMentat lets se what the patch does, Atlanteans got buffed. Maybe they are less pathetic now. My favourite god was/is Gaia.(for flavour not quality) I hope she gets more love so she aint one of the worst 😅

WAIT - Carnivora can be healed now? This is huge, this seriously buffs that GP from being 'the worst' to being actually viable. Really great synergy with Caladria. EDIT: Bleurgh, looks like it was just a spectator glitch displaying the health incorrectly. What a shame.

It is not a bug or glitch. It always shows full HP to the opponent team when they do not have the unit in sight even when map visibility is revealed(Spectator). Only when the opponent sees, they will show the real value. They should include an "All" viewing spectator mode.

@@largemargeog1023 the only times I really lose in team games are when I’m pushed extremely early. I don’t turn enough troops/vills into heroes but I feel like age 4 Gaia is pretty powerful and can handle most opponents

@@jacksonfinn23 yeah I noticed I have to turtle early and see what the enemy is building. I have no shot at fighting a rush but if I survive the rush it’s always a win for me. The villagers are stronger than I thought they’d be. They do a lot of damage against units in the early game.

About the names, it's fine, all eanglish speakers struggle to pronounce words they have never seen or heard before. In fact, they struggle even in reading them. Same goes with names during streams :P If something is not familiar, the brain farts come out :P

farms as Atlantean cost 150 wood... but also you can be getting a LOT more food out of them than anyone else.

I like to play her defensively, by setting up walls and not leaving my base until i have all my upgrades. If they want ro push I'll make sure my castle gates are a meat grinder. Her lush is a great support for defensive plays. It cost little to nothing to make my soldiers into heroes. As for your myth units...i hope you said your goodbye to them.😂

Atlanteans used to have some quirky advantages in 2003 Age of Mythology Titans, Oranos had extra 10% move speed on all human units and could build "infinite" sky passages. Oranos has been nerfed into oblivion after having such crazy strategy options like building another TC in the first age... only atlanteans could do that. And in 2002 Age of Mythology couldn't be done in classical either, people had to go fast heroic if they wanted to expand... The gameplay used to be a lot more streamlined and predictable, Titans expac and atlanteans broke that, but now they have been nerfed hard. I've never mained Greek or Norse, and the first time I've tried a skirmish I've beaten Titan AI after watching 1 build order video.

The classical age TC was almost never used , i have only ever seen super boomy gaias do it on occasion . The oranos speed had to go imo , it was a bit too strong ... he essentially had the agency to start and end any fight whenever he wanted and could easily outmaneuver the enemy even with full infantry armies.

there are a lot uncovered titans. - Themis (titan of justice, philosophy) - Mnemosyne (titan of memory) - Tethys (titan of oceans, wife of Oceaonos) - Phoibe (grand mother of Apollon) - Perses (titan of destruction) theres a lot insane potential here.
