They implement many quality-of-life features, few mechanics change (like we can use god power multiple times), new god pack - means new units also, and planning to support it with multiple expansion in future

Based on this gameplay, it's virtually a 1-for-1 in terms of gameplay, just with updated graphics. Hell even the in-game cutscenes look animated almost identically, with only a couple of small changes.

I'm Greek and can I just say, it's soooo ridiculous that they haven't employed someone who actually speaks the language to do the VA for the Arkantos campaign, it's painful to hear "Greek" mispronounced, with an American accent... Pet peeve maybe and it affects only a tiny portion of the player base but damn, it sucks, I haven't cringed so hard for a similar reason since watching Xena back in the day. If you wanna plagiarise history and myths of a culture, I think it's the least you can do. Only game who got this right was Assassins Creed Odyssey, I was never a fan of the IP or Ubisoft but it needs to be said (plus, hearing malaka this and malaka that in a video game is hilarious)

They REALLY overcomplicated those menus. I started to play AOM when I was pretty young and it didn't take me too long to understand roughly how the menus worked... this woulda left me completely discombobulated

Some of it is a bit bad, like Athena, but they fixed Arkantos and Ajax. Arkantos sounds almost the same, and theres always the original voices mod if needed.

there's a quick and easy mod already in the mod menu for that. replaces the new voice dubs with the original ones.

cut scene and voice acting HUGE downgrade. Narrator use to have some depth, this one is makes it feel like your mother giving you chores. it's suppose to give you the feeling the goddess is giving you guidance. LOL and archer shooting sounds like someone throwing stick at the wall :D.

I bought this game today. It didn't load at all. Many issues and bugs. Steam community which I only went to after I bought the game has many discussions on the technical issues. I requested a refund! Total disappointment.
