​@TheRonan92 it's a unit that costs more, does less damage on average (except against 2+ save), and is less tanky. Ironguts CAN get a ward IF you bring one of the worst heroes in the book and they have to cuddle together the entire game. They're still solid don't get me wrong but the definitely don't deserve to cost more than gluttons.

I was down at first cuz of the lack luster army rules and the stonehorn changes, but my interest was peaked with the butcher and slaughtermaster changes, then it slammed back down with tyrant warscroll. They just refuse to make the biggest baddest ogor actually do any damage, and now he isnt even tough, fast, or fun

Stonehorns died real fast without the 5+ ward in 3rd, now they have to hope on a priest making a piece of terrain to hug. The more i look into this, the worse this army seems.

Its not the Tyrant its all of Ogres. Right now we only have like 4 viable units: Butcher, Slaughtermaster, Gluttons and Ironguts (only reinforced). If you want to know how bad the Tyrant is, think about this: Would you take him hat 110 Points? Half the points of a group of Gluttons? Prolly not. Right know Ogres cannot really be changes but point values, they need another rules update.

they took away the lore of fire for the firebellys? oh man, that sucks. and iron guts have the same armour save as a glutton? how does that make sense? iron guts have always had better armour that glutton.

My tip is to convert / kitbash your own butchers and possibly slaughtermaster models rather than getting those particular Games Workshsop models. 3d printing for them is also a strong option.

Fantastic rob! Do you think the battle trait for eating is likely to be a ballance mechanic for GW? Ie.. at the moment it is once per battle... If we perform badly maybe this could become per battle round... Or perhaps end of ogor turn..

i wanted to get 2 spearhead boxes for a 2k army (to save money and symmetry), switch one tyrant for a butcher add a unit of iron guts and the mawpot to the army for cheap 2k army, but they had to change the points around which makes it very awkward to make a list. List i wanted to make (on warscroll): Meatfist 2k Leaders: Tyrant (150) - Butcher (130) (mawpot) Units: 2x 6 Gluttons (480) - 2x 4 Leadbelchers (300) - 2x 2 Mournfang pack (300) - 1x 4 Iron Guts (240) Artillery: 2 Ironblasters (400) any tips on what to do, since the points got changed?

Icebrow Hunter was something like of frosty counterpart of Firebelly with his icy breath in 3rd edition. Now they took it away from him and again he is like in warhammer fantasy: hunter with sabres. :(

Dang FLOSH save nerfed to 4+ from 3+ and lack of ward save is brutal. Pretty sure the Rampage also got nerfed from 3d6" to 2d6". Luckily he got cheaper to compensate for all the nerfs...

I was going back and forth between what army to start with for 4th and this is what I decided on. (BCR) Sadly I feel a majority of BCR got nerfed. Stornhorns went from halving dmg to a 5+ ward to now just ignoring the first dmg per phase. Mornfangs melee profiles also seem worse.

you have some of the strangest takes I've ever seen. I mean no offense when I say that, I just find some of your comments odd. You started off saying 4+ to hit was flat-out bad, and now you don't even comment on it. It feels like you finally realized just how common it is, and that 3+ to hit is the exception for particular elite warriors. I also notice your fixation on ward saves, which have always been a rare thing in most armies. While ward saves definitely add to how survivable a unit or model is, the fact that you constantly point out when something doesn't have one is weird, because wards are supposed to be the exception rather than the rule, with only particularly supernatural or insanely tough armies revolving around them (like the undead, or nurgle)
