When you failed the cast for MMMWP, use a warpstone spark to re-roll it. So glad you didn't manage to cast the Vortex first turn, you'd only have hit yourself. Usually it goes, skitterleap, then WLV, then zip back to safety through a gnaw-hole. Don't know if you found setting up the WLV a pain, I made myself a triangle from sprue 7 inch lengths to help speed up the setup process, having to be 1 inch away from models is a PITA. I'm still watch so don't know whether to congratulate or commiserate yet :D

It is so funny you brought this up. The first time Michael cast this spell was in battle round 2, but after 10 minutes,he realized he couldn't place it because of how specific the set up is, so we edited it out and let him cast something else. It is a good spell , but tricky to use 😄 🤣

Also when the warlock bombardier uses the +1 damage on 3 slryre unit. Those 3 skryre units and him himself get the +1 damage buff

Remember Enhancement (command traits, artifacts) does not affect the mount unless specified. Armour of Gork doesnt give the maw-krusha +1 to hit only the megaboss. Anyhow always watch your games and enjoy them very much. ❤ So any new brutes on the way?

How can you have your clanrats on a line? Shouldn't the coherency rules kill all of them since the ones on the edges are always only 1" away from 1 rat and not 2? Or does the base size make it so he "reaches" the next 2 in line?

You answered your own question lol. The bases are 25mm which is less than 1 inch, so the base on the end of the line is within an inch of the next 2. This is the only base size where this is possible 😉

If u reinforce a unit maw grunta gougers "big pigs" how many do u feild if reinforced? Just curious if they can be feilded in units of 3, and wondering how many points that costs. Thank u u guys are amazing big fan of ur battle reports

They are 160 per pig. You could have up to 3 in a unit, for 480 points. They are great little movement pieces in units of 1 though. You could violent fury the whole unit if you ran 3 tho, which would be pretty sweet! Thanks for watching our videos, we appreciate you 😀

Hi Guys. I have a rules question I can't find a solid answer to, only suggestions. This weekend I'm using Khorne, and have taken the sub faction to give my unit "Strike first" if I roll a 8+ on the charge. Tonight I charged with three units. Two of them got a 8+, but skarbrand didn't. So I played my two strike first abilities, then I went to activate skarbrand as my normal activation. My opponent said I can't do that, as the rules on page 69 simply state strike first goes first, but you alternative afterwards. So I can't activate skarbrand, and so skarbrand then died. However I've seen you guys play it as "Strike first" happens, then 'Starting with the player who's turn it is', you alternate activation. Can you guys explain what's right, and point me to the rules section that covers it please. Many thanks

You activate all fight first units, then you activate normally starting with the ACTIVE player. This means you get to pick Skarbrand before he does his first activation. To put it bluntly, your friend is wrong, or he just didn't want to get wrecked by Skarbrand lol

The big pigs are sooooo cool, I want like 10 of them, hopefully the points drop a touch, as they are very swingy, the momentum thing is pretty cool though. They do not bracket, which means they can still slap with even 1 wound left. I made some sad whale sounds when my general went into Thanquol with violent fury and did 0 damage tho lol

one of the best channels out there, but my one feedback would be how frequently you cut off filming rounds 4 + 5 most bat reps. Yes not much necessarily happens, but for this one there was a huge score swing that we never saw happen and stops people learning how that can be achieved. Just my 2 cents!

as a skaven player myself who is sad about our place in the meta right now I hate to kick Thanqol when hes down but... you dont get clubbing blows if you go with the braziers, clubbing blows is the melee profile if you go with the warp fire projectors.

Voting on pigs. I Like that you Run meelee Thanquol but skaven warbringer is the real Punch and fight on death is super good. I am Not a huge Fan of stormfiends in General but lets See how this Battle unfolds. Skaven are still bottom Tier Army 🙂 8:19 deathfrenzy can only be Cast on non Heroes super good on plague censor bearer Glass canons. You need dreaded death Frenzy for Heroes, so Another Point for the warbringer (hardest puncher that there is)

Why are they increasing there save by more than one in some cases and the rules clearly state a save canot be modified by more that +1. iv seen them do this in multiple battle riports hope i must b missing something..

The save can be plus 3, just never more than plus 1 of the characteristic. Example my save is 4+, I have mystic shield and all out defense active, the rend of the weapon is -1 rend. I add ALL modifiers, so the rend and pluses to save. That leaves me with a plus 1, so my save is 3+. Now if the weapon in the same activation has no rend, the save is still 3+ as it cannot be modified by more than 1, so the all out defense is not necessary. This is a rule that new players frequently make more complicated than it really is. To confirm, hop on you local games facebook or discord and ask some experienced players. Hope that helps, this is a very common comment we get. Keep in mind, we have both been playing for years and play competitive tournaments as well 😉

This clarification explains alot thank u. i was confused because iv been plyin ironjawz for a bit and is one of my favorite army's to ply was never shure how that works when my megaboss get hit with a rend -3 attack i was under the impression that ur save could only b modified by a max of plus one i didnt know that u could stack them when defending agenst a rend -3 attack good to know thank u. u guys are amazing and i love watching ur battle reports. Never use the melee weapons on thanquol, the warpfire throwers are so much better. Especially with his ability to double command, they’re incredible for unleash hell alongside the stormfiends. You could have basically thrown up to 20 mortals at that 5 man pig squad when they charged.
