This is exactly why I always disable score victory in any Civ-like game. I don't want the game to just decide at some point "actually we're checking scores now, you lost"

Even when i play science focused races/civs/empires (that is my main play style but...) i disable ALL victory conditions besides last man standing type of victory conditions. Like if no one else exists than you clearly see who has won. It takes a bit but i do have time.

As a tall human, I am pleased by the rugpull at the end. Yes the manlets eradicated nearly all of civilization, but those that were left got a... taller score through culture and economy and friendship. So that's the new qualifications, manlets lose, no appeals or recounts thank you. :P

That was the faction he created for his last video on this game, this game has the same function in Stellaris where you can make your own faction, save it and enable them to be played by AI from that point forward if you play another custom or premade faction!

@@ambiguousamphibian Mystics can be built to hit really hard. One of my favorite builds is mana addicted gifted casters, on a race with Keen sighted and arcane focus. Mine are rats themed around underground but you could also go with a water themed amphibian water magic angle.

What i'm going for and why. Culture: Oathsworn - Strife. Society Trait: Chosen Destroyers + Scions of Evil. Aimed Tome: Tome of the Eternal Lord. Godir: Dragon Lord. Ruler Ambition: Imperialist. Empire Development: Destined Conquerors + Reign of Destruction So very similar to the frog lord here, however with some alterations. Why Scions of Evil is because since you're gonna be razing everything you fight anyways, you'll obviously become more Evil, so why not benefit from it some more? Boost the Drafting speed and Imperium, pump out those soldiers! Tome of the Eternal Lord is because one of the (rather cheap) spells you can unlock is Battlefield Reanimation which resurrect your Entire Army at 50%! This means you can basically throw yourself at the enemies and have one unit hiding in the back, when All your units are dead and they start moving towards your last guy, you cast the spell and now your entire army is Behind them with an insane heal at that, doesn't matter how many times your army gets destroyed, you'll keep coming back...They on the other hand, will not. Dragon Lord is because Dragons gets a gold income for every item that are Not equipped, and since you're gonna become an enemy of the world and go razing cities (and heII) you'll be so flushed with items that your income will be in the quadruple digits in no time. Not to mention the fact that a Dragon Lord is insanely powerful. (Repost cause KZbin is sh*t)

Fine, Hermit Channelers it is then, considering Chosen Destroyers can't have more than one city, you'll always have the very nice 15% increased income for knowledge, food and production. But honestly, it makes no sense for Scions of Evil to be locked specifically for Oathsworn, even if your oath is Strife.

AA, do any of the choices you made during creation lock others out (besides obvious mutual exclusivities) or can you make really wild combos? Ngl, I love 4X games in theory but don't play them often because there are so many options but they all don't usually feel different enough. Not enough impact on gameplay to spend 8+ hours playing a match. This one looks to have a ton of big impact options and the ability to mix and match very freely it appears makes that super interesting.
