AGE PRESSURE AND TURNING 25

Today i want to share my thoughts about age pressure turning 25. I feel like especially as women we tend to struggle a lot with age pressure at a very young age and being told by society that your life pretty much ends once you turn 30. I'm also touching on the fear of missing out, achieving certain goals at a certain age, feeling too old to start something, the pressure of marriage and children, ending a long relationship and finally how i like to deal with age pressure and my plans for my 25th birthday.

bruh im going through this right now and feel like no one around me understands lol. I've tried to explain this to my friends and they look at me like i'm crazy. I had a mental breakdown when I turned both 20 and 24 yos. I turn 25 in 1 week but still feel like i'm mentally 19 yos lol. It's weird to know that in 1 week i'll be closer to 30 than 18 and it depresses me. People around me are getting into serious relationships, getting married, having kids, etc and i'm just like "I still feel like a teen" lol. It's driving me insane. It's like I feel like I just stepped in a time machine when I was 19 and suddenly i'm in my mid 20s! I think alot of it has to do with FOMO like the other guy mentioned. I never went out to parties, never really dated, never traveled, etc. I didn't start living life until I was 23 yos. So I missed out on alot. Everything everyone has experienced when they were 16 - 22 yos I'm only just now experiencing lol. I get excited when I go on Tinder/Bumble dates. I get excited when I go out to social events and parties. I just feel so immature for my age.

I understand you soooo well but 23 is still SO young though! I missed out on a lot of stuff too because I was always studying for law school and I just ended a 7 year relationship with 24! I think we should just enjoy our 20s as much as we can without regret because we can’t change anything that’s in the past :) and so many people say that their 30s are way better that their 20s :) I think it’s great that you get excited for these things :) Just because other people experience things like dating, travelling at a younger age doesn’t mean you can’t now! You still have all of these new memories and experiences and there are still so many more to come!!! I personally don’t want to marry etc at such a young age I can still do that in my 30s :)
