I've commented this on your "Rick and Morty" episode, however in this video with all of its statistics, it's EXTREMELY prominent. The monotone voice met with the facts, even though I find the facts interesting, make me feel like I'm sitting in a boring classroom with a boring teacher rather than being educated in a fun and interesting way. That powerpoint slideshow doesn't help that fact. I do like the topic, however the presentation is not done very well.

I replied to the Rick & Morty one. But this video being an objective look at a complex social issue - it's supposed to be somewhat rigid and fact-driven. I understand this particular video presentation was power-point in style but it seemed to be necessary for this one; being as the objective was to highlight the key issues within this particular social issue (Ageism) and basically to educate the populous. In fact I'd hope that this sort of video would be shown in an educational, business, or political setting. When it comes to rather serious subject matter such as this, I feel there be little wiggle room for whimsy. Perhaps if I were John Oliver or if a personality such as his were to cover the topic he could do so both whimsically and seriously, but it's a difficult balancing act for the little KZbin folk such as me :-/ For the record in my personal life I'm not so monotone and robotic, but for the purposes of the channel it seems or has felt appropriate. I suppose I'm comfortable with it. Also for the record, my brother rags on me all the time about the monotone style, so again, I'll be trying to see what I can do. Perhaps if I enlisted some guests to do videos (like having my brother write a script or voice a video) perhaps that'd provide the additional flavorful kick to the channel.

Virtue & Insight That may work. Add a pinch of personality, even if it's "My personality is super serious." Assert yourself in the video and try to make it your own. I'm sorry if I come off a bit snooty but I really do like these topics and I want to help by giving you feedback that may help in any way,

Here in Tennessee, once a person reaches 50, they have more problems getting work. I'm 58 and cannot buy a damned job here.
