This game looks amazing I can't wait to start. The origin stories of each character are great as well

Looks colorful and not too hard to table which is nice. mostly concerned about story quality however and choices. It says you can be a hero or villain...that seems like a lot to balance in the story.

I'm not sure if this helps, but I think if you change the focus mode on the overhead camera to "C" or continuous, it will focus on the cards you hold up. I'm a Nikon shooter, so it could be called something else if you are using Canon or Sony.

I'm thinking about backing the reprint on Kickstarter. How do you think this game will be with 3 or 4 players?

Considering the price, do you think it can hold up to Gloomhaven? Time to play, immersion, build quality. I guess Gloomhaven is a “harder” game.

I think this is a great question, but as of yet I have hundreds of hours in Gloomhaven and only a few sessions in Agemonia. So feel free to ask again as we put out more of these and I play more! But to me, I am very much enjoying it, and regardless of comparison this is one I would purchase myself and play through, so as a Gloomhaven fan, it's definitely engaging. It does at first glance feel lighter, but I try to remind people the first few levels of any game seem to feel lighter until you ramp up :)

Yeah, it is an unfair question, but for the same amount of money, you get a lot more quests, more characters and a whole lot of analysis paralysis. I tried finding Jaws of the Lion, but it is not readily available in Europe. I am looking for alternatives and only a good character development will make me buy Agemonia.

I'm just a nobody here but I'm in the middle (well, at the end) of Gloomhaven campaign and waiting eagerly to start my Agemonia journey. Having played the tutorials plus a single scenario in TTS I'd prefer Agemonia over Gloomhaven myself. And I love Gloomhaven. In a nutshell I'd say that whereas Gloomhaven is a combat simulator with a small amount of story sprinkled on top of that Agemonia is an interactive story where the combat is just there to not make it too easy. The characters all have their own stories developing out throughout the campaign unlike in Gloomhaven where the characters are more like classes without personality. Even the reputation system in Gloomhaven is a shallow "good or bad" where the other choice is always the better one. Agemonia's similar reputation system is divided towards 5 pairs of competing factions and make much bigger impact on the world around you. I can't but suggest Agemonia to everyone interested in a campaign game. The box is just a tad bigger than Gloomhaven one but both are freaking awesome games! 😊

@@alexvanrijswijk2743 Actually JotL is pretty easy to find in European stores. At least no problem in Spain (and yes, I'm talking about the English version). It is also available in the BGG Geekmarket

The pronounce is not "Age" "Monia"? Like Hegemony? /AGAMONIA/ sounds so strange
