I looked forward to the first version. Everything was great...but the way the story progressed. There was no agency in how you got into scenarios. Go to a country, draw a card, now I'm in a car chase from somewhere and I don't know what led up to it. It was like a big chunk of story missing. Basically, you're kind of watching disjointed movie scenes.

As soon as they retheme this after Chuck it is an instant buy! That said, it’s not Chuck and I just got galzyer, which sounds like it is basically the same sort of game. So I should play that for a bit for now.

AN is better. They're similar, but AN story flows better. Your choices lead to scenarios, not just scenarios/scenes randomly happening and now you decide what to do during them.

Smersh is better, as it's Cooperative and Smersh doesn't hold epic story sections back, like the places of wonder hidden in AN... However, I love both 😁👍🏻

Hm my experience was very boring. The level up is very linear, the stories are funny but totally random and also the choice on the cards does not make any sense what to choose. I would have preferred that all the side stories lead to the stories with the henchmen and Dr Lobo. The ending is also walking through a story of text, but nothing intriguing. In defense the finale was nice and a cool James Bond story, but after that you don't need to play that story again. The game feels to easy and uninteresting because they focused more on story than gameplay. So I can rather read a book or do a adventure story. I don't know I was very underwhelmed, because there are not many agent story games out there and I wanted it to be that good!

The use of the word epic during the campaign was hands down one of the most annoying things I've seen on kickstarter. I backed the game and all because I was interested in it but that shit nearly had me withdraw my pledge several times.

@@EpicKing It sure is, you want to tell me how that matters? All the board games I've backed managed to not annoy the shit out of me by including part of their publishers name in every sentence. Can you really not understand how it could be incredibly annoying having to consistently see completely mundane things be called epic so consistently in every single update? It was like having to interact with an obnoxiously cheerful prep every time I wanted to check up on shipping, constantly interjecting "like" into every crevice a conversation might have.
