You are amazing!! I am completely a noob to digital art...art in general but I always liked it. I can't wait to start this art journey as I just downloaded Krita on my Microsoft Surface Pro. Thank you so much for your tutorials

@@AgeOfAsparagus I have a question by the way, do you know if the JPG in Krita has a high quality like 300 DPI? Thanks.
@AgeOfAsparagus3 жыл бұрын
@@maerib9697 You can set the DPI when you create a new document. I go into this a bit in my Bob Ross series: kzbin.info/aero/PLaGRTLvEbVzybijtYZRy4EoGrx6Bq_xOG

@@maerib9697 However, JPEG quality/compression is different than DPI and you can set that when you export an image to a jpg.

@@AgeOfAsparagus Thank you, I will definitely check the link you sent me. I am still not very familiar with the quality of the image and saving them in different files. Although I know about PNG but thanks so much man for your help.

How did they manage to produce such a sophisticated piece of software at no cost to the user? When I downloaded it and looked it over, this being before there was a manual, I couod not believe it. More correctly, I was blown away

Some Krita user have "Starting brush size" and "Delta" in Edit brush settings except me, where can i find it?
I saw someone using the charcoal category in Krita, but i don't have it. They used it for smudging and drawing

Hi hi!! idk if u can help but I’ve messed with the foreground and background swap thing (top left 9th icon from the left) and I can longer select Colors and only select Colors for the background color. I can’t go back to selecting Colors for the current colouring mode meaning I have to switch between the foreground and background color to draw which sucks idk if u can help but yeah!! Thanks for your time!

I'm no stranger to digital painting programs, but I just can't figure out Krita - or what's wrong with it on my end. I've had no pressure or tilt sensitivity for years, and I'm used to the lower opacity on a brush meaning that I can make a mark solid by running over it again, even in the same stroke. Instead, the effect I'm seeing with nearly every brush I try is as if each stroke laid down a new, transparent layer... no graduation or subtlety whatsoever. It makes no sense, and my eyes are tired from my frustrated tears... Maybe I haven't played around enough, but I'm so depressed and defeated from just one attempt to figure it out...

Sounds like you might need to update your drivers. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your tablet.
