It's eluding to the fact that you're diverting focus from the room to yourself. It's also a mechanic to induce a sense of mystery. A lot of games employ these limitations to convey the experience. Scott even improved it by allowing you to see animatronics and hallucinations in your peripheral. I'll admit, it is pretty damn funny to imagine him putting the screen in his face to hide from the animatronics.

Thegoldenm95 The nickname “King of Fnaf” was never really official, more or so just a term. Mark ran with it because he was the biggest content creator to cover and complete most of if not all of every FNAF game. Mark didn’t complete 50/20 due to issues in his life. Dawko wasn’t even the first person to complete 50/20 mode anyways. Dawko is the better player, while Mark has the bigger name. All respect to Dawko tho, his reaction was priceless

I told him not to go since he was in night 6, something that I called “impossible” he didn’t do anything and he still won. I told him and he was in shock. dude, you NEED to play Kingdom Hearts of you like stuff like that, for example, at the end of Kingdom Hearts 1 you get a short cameo of Mickey who shows up and appears to be shirtless with his outfit (because the design was changed later on) but because the shirtless Mickey was the canon cutscene now the writer decided to justify it at LEAST ten years later and 5 games later by having 0.2 fragmentary passage (takes place before KH1) show a cutscene of a swarm of enemies attacking him and ripping his shirt off
