I have a daughter and grand daughters in Mesquite. About 4 hours from where you were. I really appriciate the how you leave a camera out at night, to show how beautiful the night sky is. I dont think some people realize how beautiful the desert is. Thank you!

I absolutely love this video and the beautiful adventures you share with us. Tonopah, Nevada looks like such a peaceful place, and I really enjoyed the calming desert scenery you captured. Plus, Sadie’s antics always bring a smile to my face-she's such a good girl! Your tips for staying warm in the RV during those chilly desert nights were really insightful. I’ll definitely be trying out some of your ideas on my next trip. The thought of having a portable power solution to help keep things running in more remote areas is definitely something I’ll be considering for my setup! Thanks again for sharing these incredible adventures with us. I’m already looking forward to your next one!

Thanks for sharing all your explorations around your campsite. It brings back some fond memories of such remote sites around the two ‘offsite’ underground nuclear explosion test sites in central Nevada. I once came across a weathered woman’s shoe from the late 1800s.

I remember when I was a kid, we would drive from Sacramento to Boulder City, NV to visit family for thanksgiving. I would look out into the desert and see all the trails and roads up into the mountains. I always wanted to drive up those to explore. Now you’ve given me a small glimpse of what I was missing. Thank you for your videos.

Carolyn, the camera work in this video is outstanding. I love the distance shots that show you and Sadie walking through the scenery. Lots of new camera work in this video, it's very creative. Of course, the dancing aurora was spectacular. I was very interested in the Pronghorn behavior, I've never seen anything like that. They are such skiddish creatures. All in all, this was such a satisfying video. Thank you for all the work you put into this vid. ☮️
@CarolynsRVLife6 сағат бұрын
Hi Cynthia, YES!!! Pronghorns are always skiddish, this behavior really caught me off guard. They literally stood there like they were challenging us. It must have been b/c of the rut. And thank you for your compliments on my camera work. I'm still learning my 'real' camera and having fun getting creative with it. I hope you're doing well. Sending warm hugs.

when you boondock, what would go on if you left a bowl of food out by the tire or 10 feet away from RV for the mice, would they still inhabit your home while parked in that location. I just bought an RV and I saw your video on mouse traps being the best solution. what about this idea. or would it attract a lot of animals not just mice. do the mice seek warmth and a home to live in or is just the food they seek?

Wow, Carolyn! Don’t know “how” you do that. What happens, say you slipped, kept going, rolling…. And? Broke a leg or get knocked out? What, do you do? Push a Button, say “help I’ve fallen & can’t get up!”? At one point in my life, long time, lol, I would feel like “nah, nothings gonna happen”. Invinceable? But being that you’re so far out? Long way from getting help, aid? Seriously, I’m really curious. No water, as in running stream/s. To soak say an injured foot or ankle. Yes, the night skies are beautiful. Skies clearer, brighter. Catch sights of shooting stars. It’s like that being out in the country, where there’s some farmers homes, where I lived in my car, in wooded area. But a remote desert? Like that? Umm, I wouldn’t feel safe, breathing in all the dry dust?!could not do that.

The jacket looks great on you. Do u mind if I ask what size you had on? I need something roomy. Are the sleeves skinny? I layer & prefer a thicker arm. It's a great color on you. Thx for review. 👏💞
@CarolynsRVLife6 сағат бұрын
I was wearing a 2x and it's quite roomy. The sleeves are nice and big and long and not too tight and even the hood is nice and roomy. They're sending me another jacket and I asked for an XL. With the larger size, cold air gets up it, defeating the whole purpose of the heating elements. I hope that helps. "=)

@CarolynsRVLife TY. I'm short yet thick, so arms get tricky 4 me. I read reviews about how wider jacket creates too much space. Great video /northern lights/, pix. Love the invisible "houseboy". Lol & space ship. 😆
