Then in the knockout they face tough matches against Slovakia, Switzerland and finally won in 90 minutes against a Dutch team that finished 3rd in their group. With all due respect to those teams those games are what we saw during the Nations league. Just for comparison Spain won against Italy, Croatia (filled with there best golden generation), Germany and France. All of them are World Cup winners and runner up, as well as European champions while also playing attractive football. In the end Spain won and football won.
