It’s funny to remember in real life Bill is married to a beautiful black woman and they have two adorable kids- girl and boy. She understands what it takes to be funny and “mostly” doesn’t get hurt feelings lol. But from what I’ve read he’s a great husband and dad and has been in love with his wife when she’s stayed home as a full time mom as much as when she’s working outside the home. At any rate, he has the comedy thing down and he’s funny as hell!

@@gg8264 - Yeah, it’s definitely funny and true in many peoples’ eyes. But his job is to be funny by pointing out absurdities which he is a master of. But he starts out by saying why would anyone get married- getting married is too scary. Well, he’s married and in interviews he says he’s happily married and can’t believe she puts up with him half the time. He does not view her as a babysitter like he says in his skit. And he’s perfectly happy with her staying home with the kids as parenting is an important job. But he said she’s the one who doesn’t like not bringing in any income, so she did go back to work after staying home for awhile. He doesn’t really think cheating on your wife should be expected if you’re rich. So the point is comedy is his job, and not all of it is necessarily his personal truth, but much of it is exactly how he feels. The main thing is he needs it to be funny.

Another aspect that I feel many people overlook is the fact that society allows and encourages gold digging. We live in a capitalist society and people and raised to chase the bag at all costs. Not many people tell the truth of getting involved with a person for who they are. Women are raised to chase after men who have money, when they should be taught to choose a man who is gonna too put and the family first. Men are brought up to chase the most beautiful women and not taught to look deeper into who the woman is on the inside hence why so many men fall into the gold digger trap.
