Do not pair Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore and Agreeable Gray by Sherwin Williams together! The two colours are way too close together, they will clash! Greek Villa by Sherwin Williams is such a better colour pairing with Agreeable Gray.

Agreeable gray does have a fairly strong green undertone in certain lighting. I tested it in my south facing room with lots of skylights and it peaked a ton of green. Be careful, it’s not as neutral as everyone claims it to be. If you want more cooler gray, Repose gray by SW is a better choice. Popular gray is also very versatile. I personally like Alpaca because of its soft mauve gray undertone if you don’t mind a bit of pink coming through.

I was just at a cottage at Lake Erie and their inside porch facing the lake was painted in agreeable gray…. I loved it. Put up samples to see for yourself and the lighting.
