25% of the sales in dairy are whey and casein (at least in the US). We're within punching distance of precision fermentation being cheaper for those products. So precision fermentation doesn't directly replace dairy, it's going to be really disruptive (killing that 25% quite rapidly).

Scott saying PF won’t replace dairy is not true. He’s being kind to the dairy industry. Countries, such as UAE, Sudan…, will use PF to implement their food security.
