Had my .22 Cal AGT Uragan for a couple of years now, when they first came out. Fantastic rifle, and you can spend all day down the range, with the 530cc tank giving 450 consistent shots from 300 Bar, coming off the reg around 105 Bar.

I owned a FX wildcat MK3 sniper...after many problems (choked barrel is a crime and also the magazines/loadingsystem) i get a Uragan .22 .. never seen a more accurate gun, standard 43 Joules and 840 Fps (now 56 Joules and 960 Fps) due to a perfect Huma air regulator. The standard was also top, bud the adjustable Huma is superb. Sold the FX...

I think Fx are going to loose their place in the Airgun market, Fx just seem to keep churning out guns with faults time and time again. Seems like they have poor quality control, none of my Airgun buddies will go near Fx as their reputation for faulty guns is scary 😧

Andy, (may I call you Andy?) as an American subscriber, I obviously lean more toward your FAC airgun reviews. Heck, we have the AEA Zeus over here. It's a .72 cal (12 gauge) rifle that delivers over 1,000 FPE. But I'm into long range accuracy more than impact power. Oxymoron? Maybe, but I truly enjoy your nonpartisan reviews. You need to try the uragan compact and the AGT vulcan2 bullpup laminate, all use the same cz barrels!!

Questions: No Regulator meter, so how do you know what the pressure is set to? How do you even adjust the regulator pressure? What about the hammer spring tension? This rifle seems like it can't be adjusted at all. Maybe that is why its cheaper than the FX, Daystate or Brocock rifles. But for only $200 less, it does not seem like a good deal. Would much rather get something with a reg gauge and hammer spring adjustment.

I've had pleasure of owning the KING in 30 for a bit. WORLD CLASS AIRGUN. Fit finish robust accurate straight out the box. FX might get there some day and the consumer will continue to pay @what cost?

The rifle you have in the background, the Hatsan Flashpup QE.. I've literally just bought the exact rifle for £300. Such a good little budget rifle! The bolt on mine does feel a little stiff but for the price I'm not expecting everything to be absolutely perfect but the accuracy makes up for it.

Hi Andy, thoroughly enjoy your reviews - why is every European gun that you review unavailable in the UK? Plenty of people advertise them, but no one has any in stock. The prices are also very high. I fail to comprehend why someone would pay that kind of money for generic guns when guns like the FX range (I don't own one) are proven and available. This isn't a criticism of you at all

Hi, an interesting question. Firstly the availability issue. Border force in the U.K. seem to be on an anti airgun mission currently, following shooting incidents and the influx of illegal arms coming into the country. There has also been some involvement by a retailer causing problems in the industry trying to disrupt other peoples businesses (he shall remain nameless). I’m afraid we can’t blame brexit on this occasion. This naturally leaves companies with guns showing on their websites, with them desperately trying to meet customer demand. With regard to the pricing, FX as you mention, are higher priced because they are very well marketed and have developed the brand name and are able to ask a higher price. (Supply and demand) the quality is(in my opinion) no better than some of the highly engineered and quality items that are available from such companies as AGT etc. Who are not as well known (currently). I own and use an awful lot of guns from various manufacturers and wouldn’t necessarily say the well known brands stand out as being better than the lesser known ones at all, and maybe being a trend setter than a trend follower also has its appeal. Supply chain problems are hitting hard all industries nowadays, the problem is worldwide. Read about ships waiting for weeks to be able to load/unload their stacks of containers, missing electronic components bringing car makers factories to a halt, etc. Continental Europe faces the same difficulties (of course Brexit is the cherry on the UK cake ;-)! )

I live in Spain (only slightly better in gun laws than Britain) and I can't see either paying that much. As for the one saying that "real guns" not being readily available gives relative safety... I don't know what is on the news there, but stabbings here surpass the UK in total numbers (don't know about relative ones), and nobody is crying about "knife violence", buy-backs, or licensing kitchen knives. Yet. May mean nothing, of course, since since our media is almost entirely "paid" nowadays by the government since this pesky virus started making the rounds.

Hi….That really is an unfair question, and almost impossible to give an answer to without asking about 40 more questions. and throwing the Vulcan range in also…. I would strongly suggest you try them both/all and take into account your budget. AGT don’t seem to make a bad gun and they are fabulous to shoot. more reviews in production currently. Generally, it's 15 years. If you have a bottle that needs filling at a shop they won't do it after that but there's nothing to stop you continuing to use it. I've not seen any reports of when CF tanks actually fail so they probably go on much longer than 15 years. I'll be over 80 by the time my CF bottles reach their end-of-life so it's quite likely I'll reach mine first.....
