AGT Vixen Long .177 Unboxing & First Impressions

I really wish all airgun manufacturers would give us an exploded parts view like AGT does with this rifle. I would love to see what this gun is capable of in .22 or .25 in FAC @ 100 yards for accuracy. I believe AGT uses a CZ barrel which is really top shelf. Nice looking rifle.

Yeah I was wondering about fac versions of this model. The problem is I think the airtank is maybe a bit small to get many shots for higher power and the bigger calibers.

IMI Defence are an Israeli company that make (amongst other things) AR grips. You can probably swap that one out, for any other AR grip, if its not to your liking. Good video, thanks!

Unfortunately the air gauges come in any random direction. Same as on the Vulcan and Uragan. Its nice when you get one that happens to align in a nice direction or is central. I did read somewhere that you can use a different thickness o-ring so it writing alings in a different position but not something I'd recommend messing about with unless you know what you're doing. You could also maybe buy 100 spare gauges and try them all until you get one that's facing the direction you want.

Are there adjustments to turn up the power? What about shooting the heavier airgun slugs, can you turn up the power to really push the slugs at high velocities?

Well, funny you should ask this. I found issues with the power going up and down so currently the rifle is back at the distributors being looked at as the regulator could be faulty. The way to adjust the rifle is to remove the grip and adjust the hammer spring with small turns. If you Google Vixen Hammer Spring adjustment you’ll find out exactly how to do it but it’s dead easy, apart from the hassle of removing the grip

It got sent back because the regulator needed looking at because it was periodically shooting hot. The returns process was taking way longer than expected so I decided to get a refund instead, and it went towards the S510t. Just before Christmas I was in Vector Air seriously pondering on picking up another, mainly because they would have been the ones to have set the rifles to UK spec and it would have been bang on and their aftercare is also great. I have been told that if you decide to get an AGT check out the distributor and aftercare, which I’m mindful of now.
