Jipsa, the leader of the musicians, say "Myong Gum Ill Ha Daechwita harrapshinda (명금일하 대취타 하랍신다)" at the beggining, which means "start the music after one Jing(Korean traditional instrument, simillar with gong) played". And all musicians say "yae-ee(예-이)" which means OK, then start the music. The first sound was it :)

This is not true. Non-Korean people got this idea from watching a FICTIONAL tv show that isn't even originally Korean. "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" is the Korean version of a Chinese TV show, which is based on a Chinese novel. The whole story is made up. The writers just changed the names of the characters to historical Korean rulers when they made the Korean version. The names are real, but everything else is fiction. Just like there was never a time-traveling girlfriend back in ancient Korea, there was never a rule against kings having scars. There was a rule against kings marrying women with scars, but not until hundreds and hundreds of years after the time period of Scarlet Heart. Women in Goryeo actually had a lot of freedom.
