Agust D is ranked as one of the most influential producers and songwriters in South Korea, who won multiple awards over the past few years, including best producer. He debuted at #9 on Billboard Hot 100 Songwriters Chart. He became the first male soloist in history to have a song and album reach No.1 on iTunes in 100 countries each. He is ranked Billboard's Top solo Korean Album Artist of 2020. His mixtape "D-2" debuted at #11 on Billboard 200. And there is just a few of his achievements. He has two self-produced mixtapes: "Agust D" (2016) and "D-2" (2020), which broke several records on music charts worldwide. He uses his platform to talk about important topics and most of his lyrics touch such subjects as mental health, social issues, the contrast between dreams and reality, etc. To put this simply, in this MV king is his past self. The other one is his present self. So he shot his past self. "Daechwita" is a genre of Korean traditional military music, which was played to announce the arrival of king. He is not only a soloist, but also part of the group BTS (his stage name for BTS is SUGA) and produces/writes a lot of songs for BTS as well as for other top artists. The skeptic look on your face at the start and how it was pure shock as soon as he opened his mouth says it all! Since you gave a chance to Agust D (one of the rappers from BTS) a chance and was pleasantly surprised, it's only fair to give the same chance to the other 2 rappers in the group who go just as hard but in their own styles. Here are some suggestions for the other rappers: RM - Joke RM - Do You RM - Awakening J hope - Baseline J hope - Hangsang J hope - Airplane Or check out one of their rap tracks with all 3 of them like: BTS - Outro: Tear (the live performance is insane!) But he finished his rap, to say: Don´t worry, My friends and family. I am ok now.And the other Suga (Agust D) rap that I love, is "First Love" (his piano=his music when he was 8). "Seesaw" live performance in Wembley or Brazil, "Tears", live performance in Wembley. (that song didn't allow BTS to break up in 2018. When Suga showed the finished the musical arrangements to the rest of the band, and they all started crying together. (they were seriously thinking about breaking up as a band at the beginning of 2018). and "moonlight" and "People" "Dear my friend" lyric videos. I love your reaction. Little theoretical backgroud on the MV: Agust D is ordinary man that does his work on this world and the ruthless king is his ego. You can actualy see that the scar on the face of the king is fresh and on Yoongi is healed. Propably what he supposed to be in this word. In the begining of the MV 1:14 (in your video) he made a deal with the man from the market. You picked up pretty much everything :D nice. Even with his dead soul, when the beat changed, he was blindfolded from the word and it´s wonders by money, power, house... He wanted to have it all but it slowly turns him into mad king. He doeasn´t want to be destroyed by his ego so at the end the man from market remindes him of who he is and gives him help - the gun, so Yoongi can kill his ego (mad king) Did I forgot something? This is just a little theory, the interpretation depends on what you see when you look at it but this is just a liitle BTS tactics for people to figure out why they do what they do and understand or even just enjoy the vibe. Did you listen to BTS before? This is the band that he is a part of. You can check their rap works. There are 2 more rappers. They are very talented. You can check Ddaeng, Ugh, (lyric video or/and live and explanation video, there is a lot of cultural things we do not know about) Outro:Tear (lyric video and/or live). There are no music videos for these songs. Also they did 4 Cyphers. These are fire. I recommend you to check these Cypher 1, 2, 3, 4 lyric videos. The band itself is great. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. If you want to check them I reccomend Fake love, Mic Drop, Black swan, On and you can check their latest MV for song Butter. They have large range of genres and do not stick to one style

Min Yoongi loves those historical dramas, that they film in that built up filming set.. Usually it is fully booked for years in advance.. But there was this little pandemic that had emptied the filming set.. And this poor boy from Daegu, who ran from home and into the capital to follow his passion doing rap, got to climb on to the emperor's palace and in into the throne.. That belongs him by his literal blood.. He is the relative of the last Empress of Korea... (Also bearded dude fighting the other happens to be late realtive to earlier royal blood.. Haha just for fun, please check out the butter mv. It’s only BTS’s 2nd English single, the performance at the bbmas last night too. It’s the first time I’ve ever heard suga rap in English, haha it’s so intriguing. I think that’s what got me hooked, their duality is astounding, you never know what to expect, they sing rap dance and they’re a genre on their own. If you like the rap specifically then I’d watch agust d by agust d (suga in BTS), joke by RM (another BTS rapper), and maybe Ddaeng by the whole BTS rap line. All of their songs are deep and meaningful, and are typically not translated well, especially the rap bc it gets complex with the wordplay and cultural expressions/references. I suggest watching explanation vids as well. Please get into it, you won’t be disappointed!

"Daechwita" is a song they would play to summon the Emperor's Army. BTS/August D's fandom is called ARMY. So August D is summoning his fans. Also Jin& JK make a camio getting into a fight in the marketplace. Jin has fake facial hair. Daechwita is definitely one of my favorites. Borahae!💜

You ought to see Yoongi’s sword dance practice in preparation for this MV. And one thing you should know about BTS and their dedication to their art and craft is that they always pay homage to their culture and heritage as Koreans. These are visible in their songs (musical instruments and beats and dance, and MVs (the location and set up of props). They are extremely talented and extraordinary artists - as individuals and as a group.

Agust d/Suga/yoongi is a lyricist and his word play, flow switches, his incorporation of different sounds like the loud breaths for effect, he does this kinda quick scream thing I don’t know how to describe it but it’s one of his signatures I’d say... but he is an absolute savage.. and he’s earned everything he has. He was actually signed on to bighit which is bts label not as a part of the group... but brought in as a producer... he has some old beat making videos bc he loves composing songs and is a true introvert... unless it’s his music... his raps are unforgettable ! Agust d by Agust d is a very good song full of responding to haters and he does not hold back lol he also has a song called “the last” that is cool because it’s powerful in taking about his battle with depression and anxiety even while in bts... you feel what he’s saying even if you don’t know the words. Another BTS rapper that will blow your mind lyrically is RM -joke ... you his is a wild ride lol also the rap line in BTS has a song called “ddaeng” that each rapper has a verse and so there’s a lyric video to see who is saying what but after you have to watch the “ddaeng explained,” video to fully grasp how clever the song is when it explains not the lyrics he it’s easy to See in the lyric video... but there’s certain cultural references in the way things are phrases.. or the doubles or triples that are about their culture and need to know to understand really how clever it is... there is theee of them.. suga who is Agust do, RM and Jhope... you won’t be disappointed Also the rap line has cyphers...1-4 that are awesome and there’s lyric videos and live performances of them doing these

I was never a fan to Rap but through the BTS RAPLINE, I enjoy listening to just BTS the cadence that is different to each. This one is catchy with the influence of traditional Korean instruments. Nobody mentions that he drives a car into the Joseon period of Korean history with modern clothes, and gun, Suga is a genius. Daechwita is Korean traditional marching music played when the King or Royalty and important guests visit, and when the Army would be on the march. Suga aka Agust-D is both the bad King and himself using an alter ego to become Agust D it frees him up to do his solo music. In Korea the more adult content is not in approval, since it does not have the lower standards of the U.S. and western countries as far as language, smoking sexual references, to have a bigger entrance in the western marketplace. All the BTS members have been doing more adult content in solo music for the West. They have also wanted to try to go solo because they never had the chance when all members were usually writing music, coming up with choreography and going on tour their schedules were grueling and now they have taken to doing their own solo music because in Korea there is mandatory military service which everyone must do within a required time frame. They wanted to take this time to go solo and will return as a group after they have all been discharged. In this day and age, it would be a good idea for leading countries to do the same. Jin and J Hope have already entered the military, the boys that haven't joined yet are RM, Suga, Jimin, Tae or V, and Jung Kook.
