Daechwita is a traditional Korean music style, played when the army is marching to war or when the king lives his palace to walks among people something simular a parade. The one he's wearing is actually a traditional clothing that only kings could wear. You see like traditionally asians grow hair of and take care of it which shows rank on society. Also, there was a king way back in Korea known as King Gwangjong he also has a scar. This king is actually remembered by his renowned for ruthlessness and bravery and killing a lot of people and some call him "the mad King" but he breaks all the stereotypes of what kings would be. A very historical and respected character from the Hangul culture. Fun fact, some theorys about Agust D killing himself at the end could be a reference from the old mixtape Agust D because there's a track call The Last he said "Min Yoongi is dead. I killed him". But this time he killed Agust D (the king) because he doesn't need a persona, like a mask to pretend that he's a celebrity anymore, because the little poor boy that he was just grew up and made it so now, Agust D, Suga and Min Yoongi are the same person.

Just to give you guys more insight in the song he mentions someone named Gwanghae, he was a former emperor in the Joseon dynasty in the 1600s. There are conflicting historical accounts but he was known for being one of the most ruthless and brutal, he killed a lot of people who threatened his thrown and believed to have also assassinated his own brother. He was overthrown by a coup de dat. He wasn't given a temple like others or a fancy grave, instead it was quite a humble grave. Another thing to mention is the scar. There is an idea in Korean monarchy that you cannot be a king if you have a scar so the fact he has one may symbolise how he is breaking those stereotypes and shows how much power he has. Also you may notice the fact we have conflicting imagery between the Joseon dynasty and modern elements. Blonde king Yoongi is the one which is angry. arrogant and corrupt with fame and money. Black hair yoongi is the one from the past, poor in Daegu or his current self. Black killed white almost as if to say he isn't going to be famous for being arrogant, self absorbed or 'flexing' , he is going to remain humble, down to earth and real which he mentions in his lyrics, he says something along the lines of wanting to look down and keep his feet on the ground. Dwaechita has already been explained by others so I wont do that. The rest of the mixtape is also incredible but also quite sad so if you do listen to the rest, the lyrics is a MUST! PS. the two guys fighting in the back were Jin and Jungkook hahaha Band pd nim who is their CEO also makes an appearance, when Yoongi mentions him you see the guys in the back hold up a painting- this is a bit of a inside joke but years ago the member were playing a game where the members had to draw and the other guess the word. Jungkook had to draw Band pd and the painting they show in the mv is what he drew and the members got it instantly.! sorry for the long comment!

In the show, the king has a secret scar. But that's just a made-up plot for a TV show. The show isn't even a Korean story. It's a remake of a Chinese TV show, that was based on a Chinese novel. In real life nobody cared if a king had scars in Korea. Also, this MV is set in the Joseon dynasty, not ancient Goryeo anyway.
