@@Jason.cbr1000rr Shoei and AGV are the main two brands I use. I had a Ruroc on order but canceled it because of how long I had to wait. Started seeing all the reviews on it and was glad I didn’t get it. The quality is nowhere near Shoei or AGV.

Just watched tour video and made my final decision to order this helmet. Got it on closeout for $399. I have a aria corsair x I love but got a street triple yesterday and it's yellow and black and my aria was red and black fro.my mt07. I am.also hoping my Cardo and jbl fit. Great review and helped me.alot

I’m so pissed because I’m a new rider getting into motorcycles in 2022 so that means I missed out on all the good stuff like the Corsa r i’m so scared to buy off the use market because the workers at cycle gear told me that they have replicas and fakes out there so I’m like I guess I’m a settle for the X 14 and the k1 for now until they come out with something as close as aggressive is that helmet or just go Bankrupt in buy the pista gp rr

@@B_JORDAN504 If you are a new rider I recommend getting something like an AGV K1 or even a K6. If you go with Shoei the RF1200 or 1400 are good choices as well. The x-14 d Pista GP RR helmets are pricey race helmets. Nothing wrong with them but just in case you don’t want to spend on the big price tag initially, the first ones I mentioned are good helmets. 👍

I have this same helmet (size large). The Cardo 4+ speakers fit fine for me.

Can you please do a video on how to fit the cardo with it because if it’s hard and not as comfortable as the shoei I might just get the shoei but at the end I’ll end up buying both. Edit:And just wanted to let you know that my current helmet is agv k1 and so far I like it and have no problem with it

Hi Eric, don't know if you have considered or tried the AGV K6. what would be your opinion on the noise and comfort between x14, k6 and corsa r? thanks

No I have not had the chance to try a K6. I heard it’s very comfortable and the noise won’t be as loud as the top end track helmets. Reason being is because of the materials the shell is made of and the padding. X-14 however is very comfortable and about the same compared to the Corsa R when referencing noise.

I still have an AGV K1 and i wanna upgrade. Doe to my small head 53.5 cm my favourite RPHA11 is discarded so the Sheo due to the noise and fov you mentioned. So only ruroc and the Corsa R remains. Did you figure out how to place the speakers? Edit: saw the answers below that the'll fit

Yeah the speakers will fit in this helmet no problem! I have the JBL speakers.

Hello, I currently have a shoei rf1400 and I’m looking for something alil lighter and better airflow for track days. What are your thoughts or preference between the Arai Corsair X or AGV Corsa r?

I have no experience with the Arai helmets but know they are top notch in safety. Arai helmets are expensive for a reason because it’s a solid helmet. Not the best looking in my opinion, but definitely good. The Corsa R is a great street and track helmet with goo airflow. Looks a lot better too. Lol

I don’t know that there will be a new version of the Corsa. They are actually becoming harder to find and you can only get them in certain colors. If you can find one I’d say get it because it’s still a good helmet!

Hey man, great review! I also have the R6 2017, and I have converted my bike to a more touring-friendly bike. I want to upgrade after using my AGV k5s for 2 years and saw the AGV Corsa R. I wanna do long trips for next summer, would you recommend this helmet? If so why precisely? And what are your thoughts about the inner pads and wind noise? Do you feel any pain around your head after driving some time with the helmet? Thanks a lot man! :)

You could wear this on longer trips no problem. Still not the quietest helmet, but I wear earplugs. If you have a loud exhaust it will still be loud in the helmet. Pads feel great and don’t hurt after a small amount of time like my Pista GP RR did.

How do you compare the x14 and the corsa r? Ventilation, comfort etc.

With the Corsa I feel they are about the same with comfort and ventilation. The Pista is where I though the X-14 had better comfort.

Thanks for the review. Did you sell your AGV Pista GP RR? I think your right about being more suitable for the road, however i LOVE the Pista you had. As for the Corsa R helmets i have.... i got the “Capirex” style, the “Goodwood” VR46 as well which i bought only a month or so ago. I do love Valentino Rossi helmets. Congratulations on your Corsa! What size is your Corsa, and what do you measure at; if you don’t mind me asking? I have an Exo R420 in XS and it’s slightly too big. I want to pick up a Corsa, but unsure of fit. I measure at 53cm w/ intermediate oval shape. Thanks in advance! I enjoyed the vid :)

Thanks! My Corsa is an XS but I measure for an small at 55cm. I sized down because I like my helmets to fit snug.

Honestly I found this helmet for 500 bucks plus tax no brainer but I just don’t like how the visor has no detents so it closes anything over 5mph. I had an x fourteen I loved how the visor would stay in different positions.

Yeah I talked about that in my X-14 vs Pista GP RR comparison. The Corsa isn’t too bad right now. I’m sure as it wears it will not stay up as good.

No dance this time? 😅 i have both the corsa r and the x14. The x14 fits awesome compared to the corsa but i agree that the aerodynamics on the corsa r is so much better! the corsa is also surprisingly quiet unlike my arai corsairX/rx7x though the shoei is not too loud as well. Great review now bring back the dance! 🤣
