so so you just documented some thing that happened to me when I was a kid I had just moved to North Carolina. I hadn’t been there a month and one morning. I went out for a walk down our country road out our house behind the back of our house and I heard the thing coming and he came in over the trees just like that and he ducked in this little clearing right in front of me in this big field on our property, it had the big radar on the top of the propellers and he ducked his helicopter down below the tree line and turned the helicopter around helicopter. The pilot looked at me, and when he did, the gun turned on the bottom with his head, it was the coolest thing that I had ever seen, and it looked just like this video right here!!!! thank you for filming a memory that I’ve had in my head for many years. I got to live it again. What a cool feeling thank you so much.!!!!

My old man was on the ground level of the Apache development at Lockheed Martin. His job was to operate the shop queen. This was basically the nose of the helicopter in his office. He could trouble shoot or reproduce issues with the TADS / PNVS systems and come up with solutions. Now to your back yard, one of the tricks they do is hide behind trees and other items then pop up long enough to survey the battle field. The systems can identify 16 targets, rank them by threat and calculate a fire plan. Then they pop up again and up to 16 targets have a very bad day. So they train to find and maneuver into places they can hide. Crazy to think the plans for that machine were developed in the late 1970s and it is still the deadliest helicopter in the world! TADS Target acquisition and designation system. PNVS Pilot night vision system,
