David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.

I can’t handle any pastor that preaches a pre tribulation rapture. As soon as I hear those words I change the sermon, I don’t care how good of a sermon it might be. So many Christians have fallen into this lie that they won’t see the seals be broken, they won’t see any of the great tribulation. Like America is somehow magically safe from all this, like we are “the best” and the most safe. It is terrifying whenever you think about how many people are going to denounce their faith to save their lives because they haven’t been prepared to endure what is coming.

This helped so much. I was on a KZbin channel recently saying that we need to pray for our government and people who are still in bondage of sins and this youtuber was not very happy with me. If we don’t pray for the lost who will. I think a lot of times we Christians just skips Old Testament because we tell ourselves oh that was for the Israelites but I think that we are missing a lot of good knowledge. Romans 15:4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. I love both testaments it all points to the Messiah. I want my Messiah to be happy with me so I want all of His Word.

Actually, I've had more sinners accept the Word more often than many professing they love God and believe Jesus. . Which must mean...Yeah, many Christians aren't...that's what it means. Did you see how many rejected God and asked for a king? They wore red hats, prophesied wonderful things of him, even built a little gold statue in honor of him. Apparently the man failed to do what he promised because this nation is worse than before. Now God can raise up a nation, in fact He did once when the puritan's and protestants came to these shores to worship God and follow Jesus, From that was a nation born. But today this nation looks for a king, not God.

We sometimes just see the sin. Mathew 7:5 If you’ve ever had something on your pupil and look at someone you don’t see much of the person, because the speck on your eye has blurred them. We see just the sin and not the person. Another way to look at that passage.

This man is a great example of how preachers in the pulpits should be preaching right now. Quit tickling ears and worrying about numbers. Preach what they won't read their Bible to know what sends people to hell. Put the Holy Spirit back in the church.
