Honda EK9 CTR Refresh Build - Interior Refresh with New Oem Parts (Episode 5)

In this episode of this series, our team will be refreshing the interior of our Civic Type-R. Starting with a slightly used JDM steering wheel, then work our way up to the brand new oem shift boot, A/C panel illuminated light bulb, along with replacement front and rear panels from our friend at JDM Ohio Direct.
On the next episode, we will be installing our new suspensions and also a small surprise for all of you.

Wow that’s amazing how that entire rear hatch area came apart exactly like my Integra. I’ve had the rear apart on my car so many times over the years I could do it with my eyes closed. The seats, carpet, trim panels, everything came apart exactly the same way.

They are normal since the rear seat frame is raw metal

That spare tire cover gotta go man all warped and nasty tbh I would’ve done some OEM+ sorta stuff if possible done led for cluster and HVAC instrument lights Upgrade the speakers And use switchbacks on the headlights turn signals and fender markers still keep it OEM but updated CTR get clear turn signal housings with no irange but then get an orange turn signal bulb in there that defeats the purpose I tend to go with chrome glass ones or LED ones overall nice and clean tho
