Been to that lounge. Most of it closed off when I travelled from Sydney on the way to Uk because of Covid. Still nice though. Allowed to use shower in hotel right nextdoor.

I don't think they have showers at this lounge. It's quite small.

Visited the same lounge earlier this month. Nothing special about it. Got quite busy even for an early morning flight. The cordoned-off area is for passengers who want to offer prayer (other lounges have separate rooms). I haven't tried the Marhaba lounge in T3 but in T1 it was way better than this. The signage to get to this lounge is also confusing. In T3, I would say Plaza Premium is the best after the Emirates business lounge.

I think the Emirates lounge is a good fee steps above this. I totally disagree with you about the Marhaba lounge though. I found both the Ahlan lounges to be quite a lot better than the Marhaba.

@@BigFatBesty I am specifically talking about the Ahlan lounge in T3. The Ahlan in T1 is great and I never criticized that. I would rate it over the Marhaba as well.

Hi mate. I've just booked a 4 week break to pattaya. I've got a 2hour 45mins layover in dubai. Can you tell me if I have enough time to book lounge. Does this lounge provide beer is it included in price. Don't want to pay £12-50 in the airport bar. Thanks

The lounge has a full bar which you don't have to pay for beer or spirits. Dubai is hit and miss on how long it takes you to get through secondary security. If you land and fly out of terminal 3 in Dubai then it's probably worth booking the lounge, if you have to change terminals then probably not. Food is free in the lounge too.
