Im wondering with the omicrons on him if you take his leadership and probably savage as the other sith if you could two man JML. Since his leadership is anti Jedi and his cooldown increase is by 2, which is the cooldown for the JML ultimate ability and also how much he reduces his cooldowns by when he goes into ultimate.

Was able to unlock him this latest conquest and he is easily my favorite to play with. He is my new slkr. The strongest attacking toon. He can easily take Leia out (my hardest matchup in GAC) and only needs my r8 dooku (whom I never use)

I just unlocked bane. Got him to g12 working to relic him to 7. So im thinking of using him w Vader. I usually just use vader to solo geos. He doesnt really have a home. And he is my highest relic sith besides palp which is the lead for my starkiller.

An argument can be made that Bane isn't actually the most powerful Conquest character to be released. That's because, despite how incredible he is on offense, he doesn't really do that much on defense. Both Maul and CAT provide significant offensive boosts (although admittedly less than Bane) and can also be included in a variety of teams. However, they also provide a boost on defense, which isn't really true for Bane. To me, the fact that CAT and Maul improve teams both on offense and defense makes them slightly better Conquest characters than the primarily offensive focus of Darth Bane. To me, if someone is looking to boost their offense, go for Bane. If they want both offensive and defensive boosts, go for CAT or Maul.

Regarding the battle mechanics not matching the description, CG has had this issue from day 1. Whoever writes the descriptions either does not communicate with or understand what the product owner puts in the requirements. The order of operations should be explicit in the way the descriptions are written, but they rarely are. But like many things, CG doesn't care. If they can't connect revenue directly from a feature, it will languish.

I still think he'll be good on defense in 3v3 with SEE, Bane, and savage. It has a time limit, a really tough tank, and the potential of being a brutal cleanup. The way i see it, you use a GL to one shot or you use traya to get bane out but guaranteed 2 shot

So, the part about "This Effect Persists if Bane is defeated" is within the Omicron text, so the unique persisting only applies in GAC. Whenever a character dies off, their unique goes away from my experience playing the game. I do not believe this was a bug.

I don't think the supposed 'bug' where he loses parts of his unique when he dies is actually a bug. It seems like it's working completely fine. The 'these effect persist when Bane is defeated' seems like it's only talking about the Omicron clauses, not the things that his regular unique brings.

I think you are misreading it. The effects persisting clause is completely independent and is thrown at the end of the entire unique ability. The whole unique should persist.

@@AhnaldT101 While the persist clause may or may not apply to the whole unique, it is clearly part of the lvl8 Ability (see 15:37 ). So it not being active in arena testing isn't a bug. Going through the .gg mechanic pages, the non Omicron parts has triggers to expire on Bane's Death while the Omicron parts do not. So it stands to reason that only the Omicron parts persist. But we'll see tomorrow.

I am aware the Omicron was turned on for that, I was one of the people who helped make those videos (Barb tested against my Reva team) and I was involved in the discussion about the Omicron before Bane was released. If you read the Omicron then 'these effects persist after Bane is defeated' seems like it only applies to the *Omicron* text. The Omicron does not provide any additional things to SEE. All of that (the immune to healing immunity, extra max health and protection etc) are all from the regular unique, NOT the Omicron. So when Bane is defeated and SEE seems 'squishier than he should be' or he gets healing immunity on him from Ben, this has nothing to do with the Omicron being turned on or not. The only confusion is whether the 'these effect persist after Bane is defeated' clause applies to JUST THE OMICRON TEXT or the whole unique, and I would say it's just the Omicron text, hence my statement that this is not a bug

You’ve probably already been told, but if you haven’t. Look at the ability at level 7, the effects don’t persist without the omi. The persist is added as the final sentence of the omi. So it may be that the entire unique ability persists, it does still have to be within GAC
