Mind blown!! Thank you Dave Filoni. Hayden nailed this!! This episode was beautifully done. There will be different interpretations of what really happened with Ahsoka. So please be respectful of other's opinions as you share yours. Was it a dream? Was she in a literal place with Anakin? Did she die and come back? Whatever happened we know the force was involved. I'm almost 50 years old, and last night I was waiting for an episode of Star Wars to come out.... I must say, seeing Anakin like this was emotional.... Hayden gave a excellent performance!!! He looks so good fighting with a lightsaber, no other actor in Star Wars can match Hayden when it comes to a lightsaber!! The way he looks with it, the way he fights with it, just beautiful!!. I think the world between worlds is actually what it says it is...I think she was in between life and death, and she had to fight to live, and het master came to het to Help.... Those flashbacks of the CW were great!! Man. I wish would could get more of that..... The score/music in this series has been amazing!!

Kudos to Ariana for embodying young Ahsoka so well, Hayden for his saber skills and combining TCW & Prequel Anakins so seamlessly, and to Dave for delivering this absolute GIFT of a show that encompasses the tragedy of the characters' painful pasts whilst giving us fans such hope for the future of the Star Wars universe going forward! I don't think she actually died. I believe Anakin pulled her out the same way Ezra did. The whole live or die thing is Anakins' way of saying either let the past keep bringing you down and drown or let the past go, keep fighting, and move on. Be happy in thine own self. After she wakes up on the ship, she smiles and says his name. She knows he's watching over her

Ahsoka was reborn after being killed. Baylan and Anakin confirmed it. She then trains with Light Side Anakin and Dark Side Anakin. Chopper says Ahsoka isn't in the water...until she is resurrected and given his "gift" because it's their Jedi Legacy of "Ghosts". One of the main themes of Star Wars is inheritance. She then wakes up wondering about Anakin...

This episode was absolutely incredible. One of the best Star Wars things I’ve ever seen. Seeing a live action recreation of The Clone Wars and seeing Hayden as Anakin as well as a live action young Ahsoka, Luke and Rex was all something I’ve wanted to see for as long as I can remember and it was handled unbelievably well. I hope we see more things like this. I’d love to see a live action Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Rex talking. As a massive Star Wars fan, this was everything I’ve ever wanted to see and more.

@27:36 to be fair, I think the first act of Revenge of the Sith did this pretty well. I always felt like I was seeing a snippet of the hero he became in between Episodes 2 - 3. I know it's only 20-30 minutes but I think we did see that glimpse of hero Anakin. Even the way he says "I won't leave without you master" and the way he wanted to help the clones during the space battle. I think it's there but just done in a small amount of screen time.

I just have to comment about the stoic Ahsoka. The Ahsoka, who reunited with her padaawan and got to spend the whole episode with her was much more quick to smile and be happy than almost any instant in epsidoe 1, 2 and 4 combined. just look at her face when she saw the purrgil, she quickly turned to sabine and she had an almost radiant smile. it is the happiest she was in this series until the end of this episode. and even in episode 4 despite going back to her more dour form her own happy moment was her smiling with sabine over Huyangs request to stay together because they were always at their best when they were together. So its pretty obvious to me that she was repressing those feelings. its actually on interpretation of what Anakin meant by Live or Die, where she has been stuck in this inbetween place ever since fighting vader in rebels. where she alive but she's mostly just going through the motions, she not commiting to either being a jedi or not being a jedi. she trying to avoid connections because vader fell because of those connections and so she is trying to avoid all connections despite the fact that she obvioulsy connected with at least sabine and it seems to me like Hera has become her best friend. so she's not even getting that right. and of course we saw it in the last episode she's even dabbling in the dark side. fighting with her anger against baylan when he tells her about her legacy being death and destruction and when she thought sabine was dead the what she did to shin. So finally being told to take a stance we see her come out the otherside a different person. one who isn't afraid of those connections who is emotionally alive.

This was amazing!!! I find it really interesting that a live action actor and voice actor TOGETHER basically builds and develops the character Anakin before Darth Vader. This episode made so many cool nods to previous Star Wars episodes. Ahsoka vs Anakin reminded me of the Jedi Trial Kanan Jarrus went through in Rebels where he had to face an image of the Grand Inquisitor in his former form as a Temple Guard. Ahsoka also beats Red-Saber Anakin using a very similar maneuver to want Obi-Wan used against him in the flashback dueling scene in Obi-Wan. Then when Ahsoka said "I won't fight you," Anakin responds with "I've heard that before," referencing his Death Star fight with Luke!

It is confirmed in the Star Wars Canon comic Darth Vader when he had his castle built on Mustafar and then in the Vader Immortal vr game. Vader/Anakin tried to revive Padme from the end of episode 3 Revenge of the Sith, but he couldn't see it because Luke and Leya were already born. Because he thought they died in her womb. So when he tried to revive her, he couldn't see them because they were already born. And then when he found out that he had a son, he wanted to be sure Darth Vader 2020 comic period between Star Wars episode 5 and 6. And some time after that, this cinematic Fallen Angel takes place.

14:54 Btw, did you know that according to “Bespin Bulletin” there was a fight scene shot between Anakin (as Hayden Christensen) and Ahsoka (as Savannah Steyn instead of Ariana Greenblatt, at least for that scene) on Mustafar in an alternate-reality-like setting during the "world-between-world like" moments, which they said was cut from the actual episode? In that scene Anakin would have showed her that she couldn't have changed his fate to become Vader even if she were there at that point, which would have taken away a lot of her guilt of her not having been there and not being able to save him, resulting in the now more light-hearted Ahsoka. They cut that scene, maybe cause it wasn't really a memory and/or cause Anakin's message/lesson was a different one? Though I still hope they would release it as a separate video on YT or sth like that, cause I would really like to see what that scene (and Savannah Steyn as Ahsoka) would have looked like and it also explains a bit better imo why Ahsoka is more enlightened and happy at the end.

25:55 I don't think Ahsoka died here. I believe that she was in the water in the state of coma. While her mind was in the WBW communicating with Anakin's force ghost and trying to decide is she wants to live or to die. And the training here is not physical it is the training of her mind to let go of fall of Jedi and fall of Anakin and guilt she feels and responsibility she feels for it, she had to stop blaming herself. Once she did that and chose to live she waked up from coma state and was saved at the same time from the water.

Ahsoka got to resolve her past and become the warrior she was always meant to be. Her legacy will be to fight for and mold the next generation of Jedi. It was so great that Hayden Christensen came back! And I loved Clone Wars young Ahsoka. I understand why Anakin Skywalker was the one that was chosen to bring balance to the force, just as Qui-Gon Jinn predicted. Both light and dark in perfect balance. One very telling aspect of this new Ahsoka is her shift in mission. until this mission was stopping thrawn. that was it. if we find ezra great. if we have to strand ezra in another galaxy to stop thrawn then that is what we will have to do. but this Ahsoka her priority is Sabine and Ezra. She told the crew "I know how to follow Sabine" and at the end the promise she made Hera is "i'll find them" that a major shift for her. and i am so glad to see it.

Baylan is ... well he seems hard to pin down exactly what he is doing but you see you close his eyes and seemingly commune with the force and he just seems to know stuff. Like he did with Sabine. There were things he said that he literally should not be able to know. it seems like he has both Psychometry and foresight and thus can see both the past and the future. I also wouldn't' be surprised if he can do some mind reading as well. I feel the things he said to Ahsoka were very deliberate. they were him attempting to unbalance her emotionally to throw her off her game and that is what we eventually see happen so much so that she uses the dark side twice in that fight.
