Thrawn is meticulous, especially in this art/theatre of war, to know somebody is to study them. This episode ultimately was ridiculously good. Since last week’s episode, it’s definitely been worth it for me to get up at 02:00 in the morning (UK time) because man it’s been a blast. I don’t really understand the heat for the show, I’ve had a fun time with it And these last two episodes have literally been the icing on the cake, looking forward to the last two episodes within the next couple of week. I think we will be back in the main galaxy next week, I’m just going to be looking forward to the reunion between Thrawn and Hera ultimately. I’ve heard a lot of people say that Ahsoka will train Jacen, I say keep that in the family and let Ezra do it.

That stormtrooper army under Thrawn is the Nighttroopers, which I believe is what Project Necromancer was all about as it looks as though the army is all undead stormtrooper zombies. So, yes, Thrawn is making an army with Nightsister magic.

I doubt Project Necromancer has anything to do with these troopers specifically, since this is the first contact Thrawn has had from the known galaxy. There's no way these troops are from that project. But I do agree they're probably created from Nightsister magic, whether it's resurrection or augmentation.

Somebody commented that Skoll and Hati were siblings in Norse Mythology that were chasing the sun/moon and ended up causing ragnorok. Interesting parralel after hearing Baylen SKOLL and Shin HATI talking about ending the cycle. Im curious to see who this thing or being is thats been reaching out to Baylen (maybe Abeloth?).

It is not an illusion because when Ahsoka said to Anakin : I will not fight you" Anakin responded : "i heard that before".. and only Luke told him that.. so he is a post return of the jedi Anakin..

Filoni is really into the mystical side of the Star Wars story so we will probably see more to do with the witches and with the force. In his interviews he really has that George Lucas view that the force is everywhere and everyone has access to it. The difference was the level of access which you hear with people talking about M count and midi-chlorians but everyone has access to the force. Filoni is going to play on the mystical side so we may see things such as gods and witches and so forth.

It's interesting to see the nightsisters said Sabine reek of jedi. I'm wondering if Balen brought her to mask his own presence!! And to mix that with the dark side, maybe he clouded the night mother's views with Sabine. So neat. I really wonder what his plans are to break the cycle of rise and fall. Also, guys in red suits remind me of Knights of Ren.

After 30 years, the Heir to the Empire himself has been seen on screen in the flesh. It honestly is so surreal to me as someone who’s read both the HTTE trilogy, as well as Zahn’s canon novels (which are arguably even better than HTTE imo). That was one of the coldest entrances I’ve EVER seen in Star Wars 🔥🔥🔥. Even for those that haven’t watched Rebels or read the novels, I think this episode did a great job at starting to solidify not only why he is feared, but also how different he is from most Star Wars villains

Grandma Smols is right about the elephant graveyard being in Tarzan years before they used it in the Lion King but I can't remember if it was black and white or early color television. Would you ask her for me. Also, George Lucas was inspired by his original creation of SW by Flash Gordon and Buck Rodgers serials, Japanese samurai, WWII and Vietnam war and culture he passed this on to his padawan Dave Filoni during his training in the first 6 seasons of TCW. When Dave created Ahsoka it was George who said that she would be Anakin's padawan and Dave said Anakin doesn't have a padawan and George said he does now, so the rest is history. Now Dave is a Jedi master and George is so proud of him for doing his own thing but still keeping all the lore and spirit of the original SW unlike Disney. Also, ask Grandma Smols about Buck Rodgers and Flash Gordon because she looks like one of those fine damsels in distress that was saved by them.

Episode 5 with Ashoka and Anakin I think Ashoka was reliving the trauma she experienced in war and how it marked her life and also how she blamed herself for Anakins fall.

Great reaction!! *Foreshadowing* “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” Baylan is up to something trying to prevent the ongoing cycle of war. Maybe he and Shin end up working together with the rebels to prevent Thrawn from returning to the galaxy we know. Not sure how they would fit that into the remaining episodes, but I’m excited to watch!

@Smols Family Reactions, I would be surprised if Filoni came out and said that Ahsoka and Anakin scenes took place in Ahsoka's head--why use the World Between Worlds for that? The scene with Hera and Jacen suggests that Hera heard the lightsabers too--Why would they hear what was going on in Ahsoka's head? The World Between Worlds was shown to be a gateway to everywhere and every when, so why assume that isn't the case now? The cave on Dagohba that Luke entered was real. What Luke experienced was real. Did it really happen? The Pitt Rey fell in in Ah-To was real. What she experienced was real. Did she really see an infinite number of herself and a blurred window with her family on the other side? Does it really matter? What they both saw was their own baggage, and in a way, that's true for Ahsoka too. The difference in her moment is her master was there to help her get through it, to move past it. Luke and Rey didn't move past their issues until later in their stories. Attachment pushed Anakin towards the Dark Side, sure, but Luke's attachment brought him back! What's the difference? Vader hid the fact that he had attachments from the Jedi and his friends. Luke was an open book, and neither Yoda nor Ben told him to stop what he was doing. What they did with Anakin got them into the mess they were in, and so they tried something new with Luke. Yoda did point out to Luke that going to Bespin might not be a good idea, but he didn't flat-out tell him no. Luke was told to guard his feelings, whereas Anakin was told to have none. Sabine is an open book, Ahsoka knew exactly what Sabine was going to do, especially after seeing her take the map off the ship after Ahsoka had told her not to. 12:08 LOL, he/she just throws down what's left of his/her weapon. 20:15 The fact that Ezra and his new alien friends wear the Rebel insignia is probably a good indication that they keep to the values of those who fought against the Empire. We also know that Thrawn wants him dead, so there's that too. How do the Night Sisters know of the Jedi? Surely not just because of Ezra, right? He's on the run with the nomads, moving from place to place to evade them. Baylon senses a stronger presence and Thrawn wants out of this galaxy. He's been here for what? A decade or so and he has nothing to show for it. The Chimera and his forces' armor is in tatters, and Thrawn said himself that he's lost a lot of men--something here scares him, no? He understands his own galaxy, and back home there's power, power he can use to conquer his own galaxy and possibly this new one too, if he had enough firepower to back him up. The first couple of episodes had CGI on par with the Mandalorian, but everything after the four episodes has been dialed up to eleven. I hope this is a sign of things to come. I hope we aren't just getting one season of Ahsoka. I hope this ends on a cliffhanger that leads towards a second season. I'm not ready to say goodbye to Thrawn. We need much more of him in the foreseeable future.

I love this react. Was Anakin real? I presume so. Anakin did not have the force ghost "glow." He was there. He was instructing Ahsoka. And, personal opinion, I think Anakin embodied The Father. Anakin WAS the balance of the Force. He trained with the Jedi; he explored the Dark Side. Then he took it all apart. How did Ahsoka end up in the World Between Worlds? Anakin made it so.

Anakin was real because he knew stuff that Ahsoka did not so it couldn't have been a figment of her imagination. She would not have known Luke said he will not fight Anakin when he referenced that when she said the same thing.

As a self admitted momma's boy... Why wouldn't a mother who gave birth force sensitive child be able to connect through her son? Even if she isn't force sensitive. In real life, and I can attest to this from my own experience with my mother, mothers can often connect to their child, even if you are states or countries apart. I will often get a call from my mom when something isn't going well that she isn't aware of. First thing she says.."What's wrong?".
