If Thrawn is going to be a movie, Ezra and Hera will be busy with that. For Season 2 of Ahsoka, Baylan might be hunting the goddess of the Force in an effort to end the Force itself, perhaps unwittingly setting her free. Ahsoka and Anakin might even get to team-up in some metaphysical fashion to stop them.

Been fun catching up on these reactions! Thrawn got his way and got out! So happy with how well Hayden/Anakin was used in this season. Ahsoka/Sabine/Ezra were fun together too! I def felt when Thrawn said to destroy the fortress the Nightsisters gave a disapproving look, makes me think they betray him at some point. RIP Ray Stevenson

I've just binged all 8 of your reactions - it's been great following you through this amazing show. In my opinion your reaction at the end of Episode 4 is exactly the correct response to hearing Heyden Christensen utter the phrase "Hi Snips" I didn't catch you mention it, but that last shot of Baylan has him standing on statues of the Mortis Gods we meet in Clone Wars and whose images appeared on the temples in Rebels. I can only assume that when he said he was going back to the beginning that he really meant it quite literally. I am so very keen to see where all these characters are headed next!

Thrawn read Ahsoka like a book( i do think Thrawn was testing himself as he hasn't had a real challenge for 10+yrs ) Action scenes was crazy Morgan Elsbeth getting a power up also explains why she didn't have all those dathomir tattoos The sword of talzan was cool The scene with Ezra and Ahsoka with lightsabers out amd Sabine duel blasters reminded me of Anakin Ahsoka and Rex on one of there many missions together Chopper knew immediately that it was Ezra (needed zeb in this scene) Baylan and Shin were like forgotten characters Left on a cliffhanger 😤(now have to wait like 2yrs for the next part)

The moment that Sabine was able to connect with the force was very much a payoff. And it had been steadily building subtly mind you which is something that many people had missed. But if you go back and watch Sabine fighting off the bandits when she got knocked free from her howler she did a perfect blast deflection right into one of the Bandit's faces. When they were fighting the night Troopers after they got resurrected Ahsoka did another blast deflection. Right after she saved Ezra. And then once she is on the ticking clock and being held by one of these zombies she was finally able to connect. I certainly understand why she felt confident that she would be able to do with Ezra something that she saw Kanan and Ezra do so many times in Rebels. Speaking of Ezra's master it was really nice that huyang acknowledged that he knew Kanan as Caleb. And that he had the other blade emitter like Kanan had. There is a fun musical detail that just before Anakin, almost immediately before you hear ahsoka's theme there is a small hint of across the Stars. Also can we acknowledge just how in character it was for Ezra not only to impersonate the Troopers but then on the stormtrooper armor

Could you imagine if Dave had killed a member of The Ghost crew in Season 1 of Rebels? No way! We've gotta get to know these live action versions a bit more in more seasons before Dave kills them! I also rewatched the last couple shots at least 2 times, maybe 3 times, maybe 4 times, but not quite 5 times. You just wanna feel that moment LAST! And know that Anakin is watching over Ahsoka until her end of days.

​​@@CatherineLaSalle whenever there is the Mortis Gods, there's Abeloth. I have watched the Ahsoka series over and over again, trying to piece together what it is Baylan is after. I have reason to believe that Abeloth is calling to Baylan because in legends, she is capable of calling both Jedi and Sith to her to try set her free and do her bidding. But that's just my theory with some legends knowledge in it.

The First Order is still in the development stages. Yes .... the First Order has its spies and saboteurs within the operations of the New Republic. But the TFO is not yet strong and organized enough to defeat the New Republic in one stroke .... Yet. So my guess is that Thrawn plans to use the Night Mothers to resurrect a zombie army for Thrawn. But Thrawn needs someone, and powerful Force User to command and control his forces. This is what takes him to Mount Tantus

There's been no official statement on a season 2 except from a "reliable" source. This didn't get the viewership that season 3 of The Mandalorian got but I hope we get a second season of Ashoka. I don't know if you've watched Stranger Things but I saw a few day's ago that season 5 of that show might not happen because of the strike I'm going to look that up in a moment. It looks like season 4 of The Umbrella Academy is set to roll in 2024. If we get a second season of Ahsoke it might not be here till 2025.

@@CatherineLaSalle sometimes a good cry is just what you need! The series started off slowly paced but each episode picked up speed as the series evolved.. I have watched Star Wars since 1977 (I was 9 when it came out) and read 90% of the EU novels. And these series that Dave and Jon have brought to life just rocked.....It would be nice if they retconned the awful Disney Trilogy (That whole lot rates a solid zero.....I'd rather watch Howard the Duck..!!) PS currently building the giant 1/43 Millennium Falcon from Deagostini....its a monster!!

There's a lot of accusations about bad acting in Ahsoka (except Ray Stevenson who's performance is the best for majority of people) and i don't agree. Ray Stevenson, Hayden Christensen, David Tennant, Lars Mikkelsen, Eman Esfandi or Diana Lee Inosanto did great, Mary Winestead, Rosario Dawson and others weren't also bad. I'm not biggest fan of Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Sabine was overacted for me a little, but that's it. What's Your take on it?

Yeah I definitely have read some varied reviews in regards to performances, I feel like I have a different perspective as someone studying acting: personally I feel like they all did a fabulous job of conveying a lot through the subtext, the unspoken tension between the lines. And I think a lot of the performances are influenced by directorial choices, it seemed clear to me that the actors were really able to let their lines land and simmer in the air for a bit, especially in the beginning with Ahsoka and Sabine’s fractured relationship, and I thought it was very successful in capturing the fact that the two had butted heads
