I think Ahsoka’s training her to become the first new mandalorian jedi, instead of Grogu, or alongside Grogu, who’s very young at the moment, but Ahsoka is training her to be a new kind of jedi, like herself, Luke, Grogu, Cal, and Ezra. Also, if we get a post credit scene in this show in the last episode with Mara Jade, I’m gonna lose my mind!

This is the 1st time we know that Sabine was being trained by Ahsoka. We never knew if Sabine Wren was force sensitive but, it's hinted at! If you pay close attention to the sound mixing when Ray Stevenson Baylan says "Anakin spoke highly of you." you hear Vader's breathing sound. This show has been my mostly highly anticipated show of the year, with the exception of The Last of Us. Can't wait for yalls coverage!!!

I really like the idea of her becoming proficient in lightsaber combat with no Force sensitivity. I really hope they don't try to suddenly say she is Force sensitive, when it was a fair chunk of her plot arc that she needed to be able to wield the Darksaber despite no Force abilities

I don't think people who haven't read any of Timothy Zahn's books or at least watched Rebels are ready for how good a villain Thrawn is going to be. If they get it right he's going to be one of the best on-screen villains ever, and with an actor of Lars Mikkelsen's calibre, who already knows the character pretty well from voicing him in Rebels, playing him in live action, it feels like all the pieces are in place to FINALLY bring this awesome villain to the masses.

Heir to the Empire is the non canon Thrawn story. If it's about his rise in the ranks you probably read the comic adaptation of Thrawn which is the first in the canonical trilogy. Highly recommend all the Thrawn novels (six canonical and three or four non canonical)

Sabine is 100% NOT force sensitive. She was trained by Kanaan to use the Dark Saber. That combined with her being an elite Mando makes he more suitable than most to handle Ezras light saber. It's never been hinted at ever and her calling Ahsoka "master" sounded very very sarcastic.

Thrawn in my opinion was always the Main Bad guy Villain that Lucas should have had in the main Trilogy he was EPIC and those Books for me as a kid after Star wars were everything I dreamed of as a young Adult Timothy Zahn Is truly a Master at Creating something Magical in his Books and I always Said Disney dropped the ball when they bought the property to not call him in to just chat with Their Teams to get feedback. They had their own ideas shame the fans missed something special then. Just praying now we are blessed with something Remarkable that brings fans dreams come true.. From what we know Sabine isn’t force sensitive. She was trained to use a lightsaber so she could wield the Dark Saber. So I’m guessing she got more training from Ashoka to use Ezra’s lightsaber which he left behind and she had.

It's fantastic if Sabine, instead of Bo-Katan, is force sensitive since there was only one Mandalorian Jedi in the past thousands of years. So if there is gonna be a first ever female Mandalorian Jedi, Sabine will be a great candidate. During the fight with Shin, it looks like Sabine is trying to use force push, and that makes a lot more sense if she gets trained by Ashoka to become a Jedi. Seeing Huyang show up in both trailers also makes me think that perhaps Sabine will make her own dark saber with his help? And helping both Ashoka and Sabine with their training? How exciting! Can't wait for the show!

Being trained to use a lightsabre and/or the Force doesn't make you a Jedi. Jedi is a religion and you can use them without being in the Jedi religion - as proven by Ahsoka, "I'm no Jedi."

very unusual disney trailer as we get a lot of imnformation about plot and character motivations. biggest thing for me: there is obviously some master/apprentice thing going on between sabine and ahsoka after the events of the rebels finale (long haired sabine), as she cut it short when ahsoka retunred to her (last rebels shot), meaing they are maybe looking for ezra between rebels finale and rotj. so all the shots with sabine having long hair would happen in those years, thats very interesting. not sure if they hinting at sabine being force sensitive (which would be a bit out of the blue as there were never any indications for that), but some kind of training is defenitely going in during this long hair time, so the final rebels shot is actually ahsoka coming back ot her not visiting her for the first time. never thought about that.

Looks like they're using the Star Maps, if there's a Jedi temple near it then it's likely on Dantooine or maybe Tython instead of Tatooine or Korriban. In the KOTOR games, the location of the Star Forge is intentionally fragmented and need to go to other Star Map locations to properly triangulate their destination. Those Star Maps are actual hyperspace observatories using the Force that see the galaxies in different perspectives over time and developing a map for navigating the best route as there's no direct routes in hyperspace . The only time the Star Maps were mentioned in KOTOR was for ppl looking for the Rakatan/Infinite Empire's StarForge or harness the energies of the Kwa's Infinity Gates to cause a destructive wave similar to the Praxis' explosion in Star Trek:VI Undiscovered Country. The Infinity Gates can be used to create a massive hyperspace shockwave towards a target. So if Thrawn wants to use it, he needs an experienced Force user not some newbie padawan that will likely burn themselves out. Revan used Dantooine's Star Maps which had the most recent&complete data some thousands yrs ago which could locate the Star Forge or its remains since it typically repairs itself. Like Revan, Thrawn could construct himself a massive war fleet. As for the Jedi droid, it could actually be a Live Sentient Crystal that's force sensitive&uses a droid as its shell to move around. They're supposed to have a dedicated section in Coruscant's Jedi Temple but every time someone checks it, there's only droids keeping the place clean. Also in the Legends novels, Luke actually came in contact with them and they're actually using droids to hide themselves in plain site. So maybe in The Mandalorian series, the R5 droid is actually a live Force sensitive sentient crystal that's actually operating it.
