We appreciate your feedback and wanted to clarify a few points: The performance shown here is definitely not what you should expect - characters should of course be firmly on the ground (did you open the take in Rokoko Studio? - I wonder if it looked better there where you can also edit the footlocks). The sun lines on the floor are our best bet (based on this video) of why it is looking off. We hope you’ll consider trying the dual-cam solution again in a different setting, as the data quality is actually mostly really solid. If you get a good result, try also seeing how it looks in Studio with the locomotion filter turned off. Sometimes that adds even more fluidity to the data. But it can be a trade-off with contact with the floor. Just to make one thing clear - we are doing some R&D around Vision solutions because we see a future there, and we are sharing what we are creating with all of you. That said, this isn’t a core investment area of ours (which is also why one solution is free (single-cam) and the other one (dual-cam) is only $20/month along with a bunch of other features. What we are hearing from our users is still that Vision solutions are great for learning and exploring, but that they opt for wearables when they actually have a production with higher stakes. That is also why we are still investing mostly in our hardware and are pushing some very exciting things on that front (hardware AND software) soon ☺ Hope you give it another go and see the quality that’s achievable under the right circumstances.

it was your light. There are some aces of light that fall on your body that are interfering with Rokoko's algorithm.

do you have any reccommendation for capturing both body and face of multiple actors for unreal engine? So far i think rokoko is one of the few softwares that lets me export a single fbx with all the data that i need for my metahumans

Is anyone else getting that the checkerboard is not being recognized in the calibration at all? Would anyone know why?

It asks me to login .. but then it takes me to a page that is different to the video.. no option to set up camera or upload videos

I can’t wait for them to improve the quality. Even with two cameras the results are pretty bad compared to their competitors, so far.

Rokoko always seems to lack behind in Software and rather focus on selling more hardware. Radical would be a great live-alternative.

These "gamebreaking" things always look great on official previews with selected and carefully created materials but in practice it's often terrible. I had similar issues. I now wonder after seeing more non-sponsored tests that even full rokoko suit is some sort of scam that's giving hardly usable results. Now i'm not surprised that professional mocap takes lots of people with super expensive setup to work.

I have one idea. Move AI gives free coins to create animations. What if you make 10-20 accounts using the anti-detect browser, cut the video into pieces, put each piece into the accounts and get an fbx as a result, which can be glued together in the program. Can you do this?

I think you made some bad things here. First, check board is not in right size, not on firm hard board. Moreover, your lighting in your room, make your clothes change color (while you're moving) -> make software confusing.
