I see you attached the outside magnet within the first stage filter area of the all-in-one tank. Is the magnet totally enclosed so that it can be placed in the water and be reef-safe? I haven't been able to confirm that it is...... Please let me know. Thx.

I noticed that you put the outside magnet in the back sump. Is there any problem with the magnet being submerged in the water?

I got a Nero 3 on a RS170 and I love it. I just don't know if I'm using too much flow or not enough and if its placed in the right spot. I use all 3 modes at different intensities(65-30%) and it's placed on the side glass near the top with a tunze 6040(I don't like it) on the same side but at the back bottom.. tank is mostly softies and euphyllias... Ps You should have a section on your FB page for questions and giving advice like this

Do you think the Nero 3 is too much for a 5 gallon? Or will it blow around the sand even on the lowest setting?

I bought a used Nero 3. When I plug it in. the blue LED is flashing. I tried as suggested by AI, to hold the control button and keep holding it and apply power. the LED should change to red flashing. The blue LED just keeps flashing no matter how long I hold it down. The pump is working but at a very low pulsing speed, The AI app doesn't see it. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Only reason not to buy AI Nero pump is that it has no battery back up support. Nowadays pretty much every pump has battery back up support. Not sure why AI haven't come out with their own battery back up by now?

only issue iv ran into so far was the nero 3 just stopped connecting to the app for what ever reason, but long story short i just had to update my phone (pixel 5), dont know if this has happened to anyone else yet.

I had the same issue but found if I turn on my Bluetooth and GPS it works every time (galaxy s20)

worst pump to have if you ever use the switches on powerbars to turn off all pumps. Had to factory reset it 6 times in 2 months of usage with 0 support from AI. Got rid of mine last week finally for store credit at my LFS. 0 on 10 so far. A 60$ 6 year old tunze is 20 times more reliable than a new nero 3
