The AI's strategy can always be summarized as so: charge headlong into the enemy without rhyme or reason, and hope for the best. This rarely works, unless you are extremely outnumbered. Like 100 to 1.

if the cav is used for flanking, easy is genuinely easy

Yeah! On easy the cav can do some massive damage on V Hard, I think they're best for distracting 😅😅
