Further to this point...The part 1 of this series also had 3 promotional inserts....WAY too many for a short video....good thing for timestamps!.....plus you have KZbin ads in as well....great content that is somewhat lost within a ton of ads

The overall mindset of the panel is terrifying in my opinion. It sounds they all want corporations to create make-believe jobs instead of giving people money directly (UBI). Me personally I don't want to work a bullshit job just so I can pay the rent. I'd rather pursue my passion/side projects full-time instead, hence why I advocate for something like Universal Basic Income, it would help people like me to do just that.

My 2 cents on the advertising debate. Improved by copilot (cause it can write way better than me) I’m a devoted listener of this podcast, and I genuinely appreciate the content that Peter and his team consistently deliver. Their insights, discussions, and perspectives resonate with me on many levels. However, I can’t help but wonder: Why the relentless promotion? Peter is already financially successful (and I assume he is), so why the frequent “hawkish” approach? Perhaps a more subtle touch-perhaps just once at the beginning or the end-would align better with the abundance philosophy. Don’t get me wrong; I value the show immensely. It’s just that the repeated sales pitches sometimes feel like a departure from the very mindset they advocate. Looking forward to more thought-provoking episodes! Warm regards!

Bigger data centers in more electricity, that will end up being a bottleneck in the not too distant future. However you know what might happen is then there'll be a push for using AI to program better versions of the same AI program that can run on like less than 1/3 or 1/10 of the power and compute. It seems like it might be possible to do that the reason being is that obviously it takes time to build new data centers and to power up new generating stations and you know fusion is probably a long ways off and even uranium thorium type power plants take a long time to build so therefore the advantage of of improving the algorithms and compressing the programs is that you got instantaneously update as so you don't have to wait for the construction time and also the extra energy. Imagine if something can do what GPT 4 does today except it only takes like the power of a laptop or a desktop computer and uses about that much total memory. Then of course later on the data centers in the power stations can kick in and hopefully by then it will be clean energy.

Is Peter's Biggest Moonshot yet to be the next Bllly Blaze As Seen on TV pitch artist? He's getting lots of reps in I see. Who knows, he could be the next Ron Papelle (RonCo) who masterminded the marketing of the Ginzo Knives and Chia Pet over late night television. If so, Peter is still in earth's orbit. He needs to add EXCITEMENT to his game, so he can sell us more units, of whatever the hell it is he is selling. I haven't paid much attention. Probably because he needs MO EXCITEMENT to convey, otherwise he' wont be on the moon but rather .. marooned.

The Transformer architecture is limited in its scalability. After a certain level of scaling, the architecture becomes unstable and crashes due to its innate limitations. You can't scale it to let's say 2 Quadrillion parameters which is human level even with infinite compute, limitless power and infinite data. This is why the Transformer architecture won't lead us to Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). We need an architecture that is more scalable beyond the Transformer architecture, to achieve AGI.

A better question, what companies can't be run by one person in the near future? With robots and a.i. it sure seems likely most things can be done with the two. Explain to me how it scales up? If one guy can own one company, he can probably own all of the companies? lol Are these people not thinking things through?

28:41 " Where are the women...." 🤦‍♂ They are there where they want to be. And your task is not to enforce them anywhere but to give them equal chances and opportunities and them leave them the freaking heck alone. They do what they want. And we do what we want. And obviously we have very often different interests. And it is great. This is diversity. Diversity of groups. While diversity of individuals within groups gives you the same groups with maximum diversity. Which are equal. Don´t forget about the diversity of groups. Not only individuals. Isn´t it funny how we care about one diversity and forget about the other?
