It is so disheartening to see practically all participants acting like ostrich to the real concern Rajiv ji is raising. It’s a typical Indian mentality of opting for short sightedness in face of personal gain. Indians truly need to watch & learn from other individuals who have the courage to at the least admit that problem exists & entertain the possibility of they not even realizing it earlier. I truly applaud Rajiv ji for his incessant efforts with Indians who prefer to ignore. His perseverance knows no bounds. May be he can far rapid success with youth who are still developing their world view & indeed become part of the cycle that will be most affected. Generational change is deeper & far more widespread & permanent when we catch kids young .

Rajeev Sir, if this discussion done with one sector each, e.g. agriculture. agriculture scientists, agriculture policy makers, agriculture govt org, agri tech representation to have full view of that sector. I don't think corporate s are discussing much except their revenues and profits. All our courses on AI are how to build and code , there is nothing on strategic use of AI for country India.

Technological advancements may be consequential to social changes. Universal welfare support being talked about in India for people who are affected is to be thought in line with human productivity gain. Wealth creation and distribution may have be aligned with social equity fairness.

1) " Best Design for Improving Societal infrastructure = essentially to be done in consideration of the worst affected .."; NewIndia MUST KEEP THIS BASIC NEED in MIND! 2) 50% of Bharat = continue to be in the farming sector, with population growing exponentially! 3) For Bharat, WAYOUT HAS TO BE : in consonance with THE REALITY of high population unemployment (women excluded in this count), increasing exponentially per annum! 4) INVEST in EDUCATION, CREATIVE DISRUPTION, > for Bharat, it's to be in The IT SECTOR! 5) Overpopulation large population THE REALITY WE ARE LIVING WITH AND IN, with DEMOCRACY in place 6) RUSSIA with Robotics in near future, = aiming to be / will be global The SuperPower! 7) " Right now Bharat continues to be doing business in a very inefficient operating system ..", here's where AI will streamline the BRAINPOWER to SET-CORRECT this prevailing inefficiency. 8) " India NEEDS an AI of THE SCALE of BHABHA ATOMIC ResearchInstitute & ISRO .., GOV ENTERPRISE "- Rajiv Malhotra ji 9) AI SHOULD BE TAUGHT TO THE NGOs > ie The SOCIAL SCIENTISTS, prominent persons here, + bring them together with SCIENTISTS like in DIALOGUE, here - Rajiv Malhotra ji, 10) FOR THIS TECHNOLOGY AI, only FEAR in for BHARAT , to AWAKEN TO THIS FACT! 11) This is an opportunity to 12) Very rampant self-centric Capitalism CANNOT ADDRESS sincerely to THIS PAN GLOBAL advancement towards AI! 13) Organizational Focus, systemic problems : Education, Healthcare, Farming > bring in entrepreneurship in not just in micro economics, THE NEED OF THE HOUR is to bring BHARAT BIGSCALE macro economics! China could do it, with it's communism, Bharat NEEDS TO AWAKEN TO THIS FACT! China is doing THIS, CONNECTING Military Defence, Education and Industrial Collaboration! and USA, with It's Democracy, DID IT! BHARAT with It's Military Defence, outsource it's huge infrastructure's R&D for Research in Industry collaboratively ! Bharat NEEDS TO CREATE THAT KIND OF ECOSYSTEM, = our BRAINS STAY to CREATE this, inland! 14) INDIANS have reached a point, where investment is put into TECH CREATION, reather than in BRINGING HOME foreign tech inland! - Rajiv Malhotra ji, well said!🙏🏼

Great discussion. The youngsters here are smart but also overly optimistic. I don't know if they realize that a lot of the machines that are coming are probably going to be better than these guys itself. Almost every guy said that this issue needs to be looked at in detail - who in India is going to look at it, let alone build a strategy to benefit from it? On the other hand, Dr. Malhotra, Elon Musk, etc., have been looking at this seriously and see that the disruption this time is very different - gut punchingly different.

This is a comment about this and other related AI videos: Rajivji , I love your initiative and dedication to bring to the attention of govt. and corporate Babujis the far reaching impact of AI. While Watching your videos on AI, seems to me that most of the guests (including profs, x-DRDO guys etc) have no clue about the rapidly developing new eco-system...(although some may be technically savvy and know/work in AI/IT). I like your analogy of "You Build a Bridge for Worst case load scenario...". Somehow they do not get it and unnecessarily argue/'intellectualize' like a 'Kupamanduka' . I am saddened & shocked by the way they think. There are countless videos everyone has seen which show general living conditions in India vs China and other places... I guess for them Bengaluru , Infosys, Indian Google/Microsoft CEOs, Mumbai, Tatas etc are true reflections of India(lets forget bottom 500M). For them this is another opportunity to open Body Shopping company and call it great success... Just a humble request- please bring more startup/business owners in your AI panel discussions who are actually doing something and less of 9 to 5 secure job people who just philosophize poorly. Please ask them, what their future plans are so we know if they are worth our time. Thank you!

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE GPT - amazing breakthrough in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. A new programming language model for AI. Generative Pre-trained Transformer GPT-3; with 175 billion parameters, is an open-source, Latest Language Model from OpenAI, and released by Microsoft as an API in November 2020. OpenAI GPT-2 Language MODEL WITH open source code, with 1.5 billion parameters released in February 2019. This was the successor to 2018 GPT, the first release model of OpenAI. Ever since digital computing became popular among academic circles, in 1950s and 60s, AI-artificial intelligence and machine learning topics invoked great interest in the minds of early computer scientists. They rightly associated AI, with natural language processing, linguistics and algorithmic logics to visualize it’s conceptual future. A branch of mathematics called Lambda-calculus, considered as ideal modeling tool for understanding and creating, a universal computer programming language for developing AI systems. They found Lambda calculus is applicable in many different areas in the digital sphere including computational mathematics, philosophy, linguistics and computer science. Eventually, Lambda calculus concepts played an important role in the early development of the theory of programming languages, and to design languages in finite terms semantically and syntactically. However those programming languages did not see much progress for AI, for many many years, for reasons of mathematical complexity in abstraction of such concepts. Besides in the early stages, computer data structures were limited to alpha numeric and boolean arithmetics, and were inadequate in processing power and limitations of computer memory size. Over the years, both hardware and software technologies propelled in power and capacity; AI has evolved as a full fledged machine learning software system, from simple object identification few decades back, to a complex natural language processor system today. The fundamentals of today’s AI is based on a set of complex computational mathematics, arrays of simulated neural network, and trial and error natural language processing functions. OpenAI is an artificial intelligence laboratory dedicated in developing artificial intelligence and machine learning systems to promote technological advancements to solve problems for human prosperity and well-being globally. Generative Pre-trained Transformer GPT-3 is a language model trained in trillions of words that can comprehend and abstract data from very large pools of multidimensional information, to iteratively arrive at near perfect or optimal solutions for wide range of data processing applications. Those who are familiar with Hindu mythology of “Paalazhi Madhanam” for amrit, ocean of data is churned to extract nectar. Future of AI development is both exciting and alarming. As we have seen in “2001 Space Odyssey”, 1967 movie, humans may very well be overwhelmed by intelligent machines. Who knows?
