Rajiv ji has been working closely with youngsters off late. I think that's a brilliant move. Middle-aged and older people want titles, and many feel they don't have the time to do tapasya, hence the mad rush to plagiarize, take shortcuts, etc. It makes sense to focus on the young. RSS has a problem in allowing lateral entry, but perhaps Rajiv ji can offer to be a resource to train up the young RSS pracharaks. I think it'll be a nice combo - Rajiv ji has tremendous knowledge, and RSS pracharaks have tremendous discipline and are generally less corrupted by the unsound education system. Please consider 🙏

As a Western yogi, I suggest that everything worthwhile about religions and philosophies worldwide could be found intact in Dharma, which existed centuries, or millennia before. It already got digested but different parts got assimilated in different places. Some of it may have been arrived at independently in far away places. Or maybe the culture that created it once covered the entire globe. It is racist for academic and other entities to give Dharma less stature than Greek philosophy, or Marxism. Or other religions. It is indeed racist (and twisted) to characterize Dharma as being racist. Namaste.

Namaste: Hinduism is an Indian religion and dharma, or way of life, Hinduism has been called the oldest religion in the world, many practitioners refer to their tradition as Sanātana Dharma, "the eternal way" with ancient origins beyond human history, as revealed in the Vedas. Also known as Vaidika dharma, the 'dharma related to the Vedas. Hinduism includes a range of philosophies, and is linked by shared concepts, recognisable rituals, cosmology, pilgrimage to sacred sites and shared textual resources that discuss theology, philosophy, mythology, Vedic yajna, Yoga, agamic rituals, and temple building, among other topics, Hinduism prescribes the eternal duties, such as honesty, refraining from injuring living beings (ahimsa), patience, forbearance, self-restraint, and compassion, among others. Prominent themes in Hindu beliefs include the four Puruṣārthas, the proper goals or aims of human life; namely, Dharma (ethics/duties), Artha(prosperity/work), Kama (desires/passions) and Moksha (liberation/freedom from the cycle of death and rebirth/salvation), as well as karma (action, intent and consequences) and Saṃsāra (cycle of death and rebirth), Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, are all DHARMA religions with its roots in Sanatana Dharma the oldest religion in the world, beyond human history, JAI hind.,,..,.

Dharma wining in Bharat or West is remote possibility and here is why- There are religions modeled upon organization with membership. The person is "converted" meaning accept "membership" of the religion. The member has to pay %age of his//her income to the "Church" or Mosque authorities. There is a membership "Book" needs to be followed and contribute towards "marketing" of the religion. Meaning go home to home and invite people to membership. Dharma has no strong organization, no membership, no need to pay money or do marketing going door to door. No way Dharma will win against this organized, strong marketing and big money!

By the time these youths would take control of India, probably they will be lost in to the western world and wester culture. The existing gurus in various fields prominently the administration line are responsible for the ongoing process identity less cultural divergence and diversion. Truly, when we are not adopting yoga in our daily life, how can we expect that we can influence or persuade the foreigners to adopt or follow? If yoga has no contribution to our lives fruitfully let us leave it completely and in reverse, let us follow meticulously in a more disciplined order.

The ancient ones too built this huge civilization of Bharata bcz of their hard power but over the time we become too soft and we know very well what happened after that. One thing which i question myself and many others that are we still falling down or we really have gone to the most bottom we can and we are rising. Bcz i don't think that in 1947 just bcz we got independence in terms of who will govern the people of this land we could say Ahh now we will start rising. If we carried out the same institutions, same thoughts etc. then transfer of power will be the apt word i would use. Not "Independence"

Rajiv-ji, how to acquire a skill of immediately finding the root or fundamental flaw in an argument with pragmatism which the other person in his mind would have felt is dharmic/fair. The opposite arguments many a times look very good and fair from the top level. The problem with these arguments is that we end up making wrong decisions. For an Adharmic person, it is very easy, for they dont have to see what is good or bad from a dharmic perspective; just a simple "what is good for me or bad for me" is sufficient and hence they have a good chance of making a simple decision that is good for them, in most of the cases. Suppose one intends to lead a life of Dharma, generally it would take weeks and months of analysis before raising a counter argument and then able to make a dharmic right decision. In your case you give a counter argument which is pragmatic and dharmic in just few seconds after the other argument. Is it that, all these kinds of the arguments are already thought of in the background while pondering over in the past OR is it a skill of a thinking fast on all the alternatives in just a few seconds. If it is the former, is it a part of the process when writing a book / or one that comes with handling life ? In the case of later, how can we achieve this skill ? The crux of the question ends up as.. The moment one walks the path of Dharma, there is an idea of fairness and all the unfair adharmic practices an enemy can think of, one fails to ponder over. How to handle this situation ? For instance, in Mahabharata, Pandavas at the end of the Kurukshtra war could NOT imagine what Ashwatthama could have ended up doing. How can one maximise covering up the corner cases ? If one spends too much time on covering up all the loopholes, the complete energy is lost is this pursuit. But you do that in a flash of second and raise a counter argument.

Dharma is a combination of what you are good at and what you should go, keeping the balance of society/universe in mind. So a Sun's dharma is to shine, a warriors dharma is to fight, a mother's dharma is to care for a child. Its not restricted to humans. Dharma is you personal test when you are confused. Ask yourself 1) am i cut out for this? 2) does this create an imbalance for myself or others? 3) is the world's balance relying on me to do this? So now whether you want to start a business, have a child, come out as gay, have an abortion - all your touch choices can be resolved by the dharma test.
@RAIRADIO3 жыл бұрын
Varna is department - there r 4 departments - intelligensia, administration, business, skilled labour. Caste is your family name, the clan your ancestors belonged to. Your varna can be one of the factors in dharma and karma. So if you are a business person, your dharma should be to treat your customers. well.

More unconvincing is when they twist, modify, alter, even distort dharmic stories to create fiction for their authorship. If they want to write fiction write their own, should not write 'based on' and then put a disclaimer that it is fiction.

In short AI can become new Max Muller for soft power of Dharma if we don't workout the defensive mechanism !! There is good potential for Hindus to use their good character to develop storage to orientalism of west AI !!

Nobody can argue with the arguments put forward by Rajiv ji. The only ones who will probably argue and will do a bad job of it are the narrow colonial-minded liberals. If you try to dwell more in elaborating his precise definition of Indic promotion you only dilute and blunt his sharp argument It is exactly what Amish is doing. Rajiv ii is like a rishi seeing the topic from a pedestal which height ordinary mortals find very difficult to reach. So whatever they talk they look, pedestrian. So the best way to do good for India is to take Rajiv's thoughts as rishi-vakya and build social and physical infrastructure incorporating that vision.

We pay premium for German products because we believe they followed 'Swadharma' of Engineers. Until us Indians realize this and revive Dharma in India, we are in trouble.

Hard Power and Soft Power: Carry a big stick and talk softly! I am paraphrasing Theodore Roosevelt. India has started talking hard before having a big stick, and that may be the mark of country which doesn't have a big stick.
