This highly anticipated venture was first announced at MWC Barcelona 2024 and represents one of the maiden projects launched under the GTAA since its inception in July 2023.
GTAA’s members, including industry titans e&, Singtel, SK Telecom, and Deutsche Telekom have been working tirelessly on this project slated to launch this week. The initiative targets to resolve telco specific use cases, leveraging the rich data generated across diverse markets by these operators.
Speaking on behalf of e&, group CSO Harrison Lung emphasized on the firm's desire to broaden the applicability of AI across its assets, to better serve its clientele base which spans 16 different global markets, all with intricate needs and different languages.
Future prospects of the JV look promising with plans afoot to roll out this emerging technology to new business models and entities currently unfamiliar with AI. The goal? To drive improvement in customer service interactions through AI.
