Hey Peter! I have a cool travel idea for you! Take a plane over to Whitehorse, Canada, and then rent a car and drive up the entire Dempster Highway which takes you to the Arctic Ocean. It is the only land route in all North America where you can go to the Arctic. We just finished this trip and it was very challenging and rewarding, and not many people do it. The entire road is 900km of gravel so it is slow going and popped tires/breakdowns are common. But the end reward is amazing as you get to look out into the Arctic Ocean after a crazy trek to get there.

Still, I prefer the slower deeper narrations. I want a bit of what he's seeing, and here most I see are airports, hotel rooms, car interiors... I want to feel the adventure and the people, and places where I'll never be. This is why I hope he'll go back to a calmer and deeper videos. Having lived some time in Ecuador, when I saw Chat GPT suggesting you to "go to San Isidro in the Loja region (wrong side of the country) and visit the Shuar people (not even close)", I knew that this was gonna be fun. Happy that it turned out alright! By the way, Baños is one of the top destinations in the country, you could have spent some time there. But I guess a mission is a mission!

Ahoj Peter, I am a fellow traveler from Slovakia, living in Germany! I really love your channel and super-impressed by the quality of the videos, and your perfect Spanish. I recently traveled to Colombia, also taking a flight through Madrid, our first flight was also delayed, had to run to the second flight through the freaking maze of Barajas Airport, and also could not really sleep on the plane. We luckily only had hand luggage, so nothing got lost. :) My Spanish is way-way worse, but still we had an amazing time in Colombia, although we only went to the "gringo" travel route places (after Medellin, we went to Amazonia, Cartagena, Tayrona, Palomino, Minca, and then flew back from Medellin), so I really admire your bravery to explore something like San Isidro de Patulu. I don't think I could have done it in Colombia though, becasue of some paramilitaries still hiding at those remote places. I am happy that, despite the scare with this robber, nothing bad happened to you, and you managed to find the Shuar people! That part reminded me when we met the indigenous people in Amazonia. They were also super friendly and cute with us, and it was a once in a lifetime experience like yours! Safe travels and keep on the good content! Greetings from Freiburg!
