Alexa / Echo is a talking toaster, it's useless. It would be so amazing to have something like ChatGPT voice inside Alexa. I get Amazon want their own model, but why not just partner up with another AI company in the meantime. They could offer Alexa AI as part of their prime subscription, which let's face it, is a bit thin on the ground.

Japan, Korea, Germany, and Taiwan are highly advanced in robotic technology, but they aren't particularly interested in creating humanoid robots. That's because, even though they have access to advanced GPUs and computing power, they don't see it as necessary to develop robots closely related to AGI. On the other hand, China, despite having much less computing power, is focusing heavily on developing humanoid robots. This could lead to future disaster, as a robot without a proper 'brain' or advanced intelligence is essentially useless.

It's amazing that Amazon doesn't even understand that many AI could handle everything we need, both outside of Amazon and within, like purchasing items or utilizing any Amazon feature when people start paying for subscriptions. They will fail miserably and also lose all their old, useless Alexa customers. I would choose Google, Siri, or even Pilot if there is no monthly cost.

There is considerable worry about tech and AI robotics, it's a difficult thing to answer as to if it's better , will it bring us further from ourselves I would say first all tech and change that has happened has given more convenient things we use everyday that maybe doesn't necessarily make our lives better but it allows for much more detail and creative ways of doing things , possibly the first time we have ever been able to connect more than ever in such a unique way that never existed so its not bad we havnt adapted to its uses properly yet , I don't like to think of the new innovations as less than or more dangerous , humans already have this issue , I believe that we can learn to invite the innovation to create and move towards a world that functions in the bennifit of each other thriving, it makes sense why people are afraid , we understand health better with tech innovation it can allow us to know things that we couldn't previously , it's not about surrender to something it's about understanding that we can let the older systems not dictate a thriving future because there is that aspect of the bad things that are hurting us , and people forget that we can learn to have better innovation for the health and well being of society as a whole that is where I think the most profound and amazing changes can be made and to me that is worth thinking about.
