I disagree. I thinknits in line with the human AI inevitable coevolution. And fantastic visual information of the state if AI capabilities for creators. If you feel as you do that's more likely inspiration for your own content.

It's mostly borrowing ! Ai's generated or Ai's co-generated filled with stock images (socks also filled with Ai's generated contents) ARE borrowing. Sad, a because, physic, Quantum and Ai discoveries remain interesting at least to me... But those voice over, scripts Ai's generated, and similarly machine generated stock images and seen over and over are really boring... Why not interview people in the field instead ?

The main problem is that particular humanoid robot comes across as a total douche. The idea and execution are fine, but looking at such a d-bag is annoying. He's off-putting and no one would trust him around the house; like a character in a sci-fi film that will obviously turn out to be evil.

In the part where you say that Gemini 2.0 makes mistakes, you show an example where it actually got it right which is kind of confusing. 9.9 is indeed bigger than 9.11 so what was the mistake?

What is the method for checking intelligence levels of an AI system, and how can we measure levels above human intelligence if we can't think on that level in the first place? Genuinely curious.
@JohnSmith762A11B2 күн бұрын
I suggest adding a time factor: basically, if a world-class PhD-level mathematician could solve a supremely complex equation in about 6 months, benchmark AGI/ASI on how fast they can solve it. The faster they solve it, the smarter they are. There will need to be some metric in this benchmark regarding the cost/power required. The best ASI will be the one that solves extremely hard problems most quickly and inexpensively. Stop trying to create problems that can't be solved by AI at all, that window is closing fast.

hyperexponentially even. progress across the field, feeding back into itself. code, chips, algorythms, synth training data, training acceleration algorythms in simulated alt worlds, quantum computing progress, fusion and solar / material progress, etc. its gonna scale so hard. only thing limiting might be hardware (rare minerals) or us (artificial limiting because we are afraid or cant handle the sideeffects of all of it)

The problem with image genration is it can't replicate the same image even if one uses the same text prompt. It can't modify the same image. Upload an image and ask it create a text prompt based on the uploaded image, use the same text prompt and it will create a different image.
@Justin_ArutКүн бұрын
Gemini 2.0 and Imagen 3 can do image modifications. They call it refinement. It does image analysis, too, so you could use its analysis as another prompt to generate a similar image. I don't see the point in recreating the original image, since you already have it and can simply copy it as many times as you like.

Humanoid robots are already doing factory work in China at a ratio of 800 robots to every 10,000 humans and rising fast. In the USA it's basically stuck at 0 humanoid robots because a Boston Dynamics unit costs more than a Ferrari whereas Chinese robots cost almost nothing. A lot of people still haven't realized China is kicking America's a** up and down the street all day, every day in high tech. And they are doing so even as Uncle Sam frantically tries to cut off their access to GPUs and raw materials.
