Yes and no, Runway Gen 2 has a free trial, and after you pay for it, you're able to generate way more videos than you can get from stock video sites. I was trying to say it's a better bang for your buck in the video.

Yeah, I totally agree. Once they add audio to these video generations, like video or even use a software like Play.ht for voice, it's game over.

Yeah I honestly can't wait to see if its just hype or not. I am guessing it isnt because OpenAI comes out with groundbreaking technology.

You come across as like the poster child for the dunning kruger effect which I'm sure is just the script being a bit stiff. Its okay to say you don't know something or you are unsure, no need to make sweeping generalisations and difinitive statements. People resonate with authenticity. “Sora is the best because it’s bij OpenAI” - that’s no argument! What do they teach kids in schools these days? 😳 and it’s the best because it’s the only one we have access to 😂 The problem with OpenAI is that at current you can’t give it exact content to use. So you can have your bespoke lighthouse on that ridge. You can’t have perfect co trol over light and continuity. You have no perfect control over pacing, over angels and pans. So it’s nice for a little insert that they’d normally use stock footage for but that’s the realm currently. And I doubt for a very long time, because having worked on movies and tv, there’s a certain look and feel that comes from the art director, they can’t even put their ideas in words, let alone you can train the AI. And if you do take something very stylized like a Hitchcock or a Burton you are extracting their vision and it becomes a cheap combination of their unique visions. Film makers want ultimate control up to the last moment before release these days. AI isn’t going to give it to them.

If you go watch the entire video I start explaining my argument. I start showing if they made such a a good image generator it’s not a that big of a deal to make a video generator because video is just a pile of a lot of images

😂no they won’t make the movies cheaper for the consumer just because they reduced production cost 😂I worked too long in this business to know that that won’t happen. They’ll just churn out more shite like they have been doing the last 20 years.

We will see usually when there is more competition in a space stuff get cheaper and ai enables that

@@emanueltermure the thing is that theaters and distributors aren’t competing, they are a monopoly. They’ll never drop seat and distribution prices.
