the amount of settlements would have been fine in my opinion if they had not all been so large, the quantity and quality of the Roman armies is clearly going to be insane in a game with so many starting large cities Instead just have Rome and Constantinople as huge cities a nice spread of large cities around the place and all the rest minor cities and towns, just so the Romans have to field some bad troops

This series really reveals how broken BI's horde mechanics are. The only reason I play Atilla is because I like the horde mechanics better in that. Then they still managed to screw it up by making the Huns an extremely gamey and boring opponent to fight.

U can become a horde when you have only 1 settlement left and can do it whenever you want
