I made this 9-minute walk-through of the core essentials for using Adobe After Effects, (*For a different KZbin channel). It's 5 years old now but all still completely relevant. It teaches the basics, like setting keyframes, masks, blending modes, 2D vs 3D space. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWSvaIJjZcyFn7M. Then there are 1000's of great After Effect tutorials for beginners and advanced users on KZbin. Also the paid courses at School Of Motion, have really good reviews and I know friends who have learnt a lot going through those.

Thanks very much. Yeah, whilst the result in this one wasn't all that great, the process (I think) covered lots of the core steps to make some epic content. Not super quick but controllable.
