Civic Resurrected After Sitting For 3 Years!! The car had been sitting for 3 years and for almost 2 of those years it was sitting behind the house under the trees where it got almost no sunlight resulting in this disgusting mold all over the car. I fully agree, as someone with CIRS/mold illness. Plus all the nonporous surfaces cleaned with EC3 or benefact. The Pureteq SMOK and SHOK system is supposed to be capable of properly remediating cars and bringing mycotoxin levels down to a point where people with mold illness can tolerate them safely, but it depends on the person. A car with mold needs remediation, rather than detailing, and new filters, as well.
