Look like Hindu names does not exist any more in some guyanese family. So sad😢

First of all, this is an interfaith family. Secondly, when your children are raised outside of Guyana, you have to consider their future in the school & job environment. Why would you subject your child to a lifetime of mispronunciations and lack of opportunities because of a name that is hard to pronounce & spell. Guyanese have assimilated into the US & Canadian cultures and nothing is wrong with that once the core of the culture is present.
